Everything I have had here is amazing, great food with amazing service!!
The coffee was sour, it tasted old and stale, or it could have been under extracted. What really surprised me were the water stains on the walls and what looked like white dust on their black ceiling above our seating. Overall the service and quality has diminished since their opening. Here's some food for thought, you don't get water with your food anymore like before, and the portions have gotten much smaller for the same price. Also, coffee is served in a cup without a small plate or spoon to stir, and everyone is in a hurry. It's those little things that matter to me. And forget asking for wifi, they have a guest password, but when you ask to access their wifi they tell you they can't grant you access because nobody knows the paasword. It's a frusterating place to eat and feel appreciated. If you're looking for a premier Cuban Cafe there are others in Fernandina Beach to choose from. I'd recommend shopping around. This place has diminished in many ways.
The La Aly Babalu is absolutely delicious, the guava and cheese pastry was okay but could have been fresher. Great coffee!

Latino approved! The quesitos, pan de guava y queso, La Rebe (latte drink), the Cuban styled espresso, so so good! Store is clean & cute, staff is efficient, and the food has never disappointed me.

Food was great! It gets busy but the wait is not long. Plenty of seating. They have a mini brunch set up with some carriers style mixed drinks to go with some traditional Cuban cuisine.

Busy delicious restaurant. Went with friend, she had the Cuban and ate almost the whole sandwich! She is tiny. Constantly saying how delicious it was. Beautiful pastry case also. I will indulge next time and add to review. Definitely worth a try!

Borderline rude, seemed bothered to take my order. I decided to make it to go. The girl dropped the bag on the counter, turned and walked away. I even tried to get someone's attention and despite the fact there were about 4 girls working, not one even acknowledged me. The coffee was good, my sandwich for 10.95 came with nothing. It was not the worst Cuban style food but very disappointed.

Been here a number of times, but it's probably been about 6 months. Food is always great and the people there are wonderful. While previous times the sandwiches were easily 2 meals because they were so loaded, this one seemed pretty skimped on the meat portion.
I'm including the menu picture plus a couple photos of the sandwich. I probably would have said something if I ate in person, but it was takeout.
