I stopped by to see when Beach Bowl was going to open and the Construction Superintendent gave me a tour. It was fantastic to have such a modern bowling alley in Jax and I can't wait for it to open!
There are 20 lanes of regular ten-pin bowling and its own check-in counter to the right as you walk in. Everything looks to be top-of-the-line equipment. For those interested in bowling, you have your destination. However, there is so much more.
There are 4 lanes of string pins upstairs that you can rent for family outings or parties that are complete with some sort of integrated and incredible video gaming software when you bowl and 25,000 lights above you in the black ceiling. The super said there is a unique capability to somehow connect the bowling experience to the audio-visual system. There is a sit-down restaurant with over 40 taps and many tables downstairs, and a huge kitchen with the best equipment to make whatever they decide will be the menu. It is a chef's dream kitchen.
The huge outdoor restaurant also has a bar with over 90 taps, what looks to be plenty of seating around the perimiter overlooking Jax Beach and enjoy ocean breezes. There is a place for live entertainment to stay out of the weather, and the whole upstairs is under a roof. This is not just a bowling alley but a destination.
You see what appears to be a very large video arcade that looks to rival any around town. With the latest video games as well.

Temporarily under major renovations, The renderings looked really nice but I questioned the idea of a second story deck overlooking the soup kitchen. I'll update my review when it reopens.

This place is a dumpster fire mixed with burnt hair!?!? The group I was with had someone with an ID expired by one day! Then they kick us out because of the expired ID! I have never been treated with worse customer service in my life. A bowling alley is for the family fun and the bartender wanted to start a fight with adults. I would never have my child's birthday here! Never have a group party! If I were the owner I would be embarrassed! This place needs to turned into a better family establishment!!!

Honestly, just bulldoze the B. You were thinking it and I decided to elaborate on it. Rebuild and refresh. Wayyy past due on a face lift. Smelly, dirty, and old. Y'all need to keep up. Staff is beyond rude and clearly not happy and they make it obvious over a simple shoe sizing! Back in the day it was the "cool" spot"... not anymore. Friday nights the parking lot is empty and it's not a good sign. The beer is horrible... not only do you need to change your look but maybe a little late on changing the beer lines. Normally I don't write such a negative review but I've been waiting for this place to update and they just haven't.

3.5 stars. Good place to hang out while the base was on lock down. Cold beer, decent food. Prices were a bit high for a military base compared to civilian, but the Navy facilities always did charge more than Army facilities. Wait time on the food was terrible, but then again, they weren't looking for a slew of workers to show up and wait out a lock down for 4 hours in the middle of the week either.
Every time we have gone, we have never had a problem. Staff has always been friendly, place is always clean, and good music is always played. Whenever we go bowling, Beach bowl is where we go.

Weekly special 3- games plus shoes less than $13.00 per person was an awesome deal. Up to 5:00 p.m. clean place and friendly atmosphere. The people who work here are always very easy and so nice.

Ive had better times here. This time around the lane messed up on us. Tried to say have a good night twice on the way out, no acknowledgement from the employees.
