We’ve always loved this place. I was afraid with new ownership it might loose some character and be turned into some shined up version of the same fish joints we see all over. But no! It’s still got the same charm and great food and lots of the same courteous and attentive staff! A little polish and new paint but still great charm. Kala and Kim run the show in the upstairs bar and keep the drinks and food moving with a smile. You can tell a good place if the crew serving you seems to care about what they are doing. And that is no truer than here at Beachside Seafood. Had Franks fish Sandwich for the first time in a minute. It was even better than I remembered. Dig the skinny krinkle fries. Dip the hush pups in their signature Remulad or spicy ranch. Best slaw around the beaches. We’re gonna grab some shrimp and fish to grill from the fish market downstairs. Hit this spot up if yer new or returning customer. You won’t be disappointed.

Our waitress was FANTASTIC!!! The Gatorade basket was pretty good to someone like me who's not usually very adventurous. Coleslaw was amazing and unique!

If you are in Jacksonville and want some seafood this is the spot!!! Randomly went there and was blown away by the quality and service. Kim was our server and she was sooo kind and patient! Kim made our experience a great one :)

I had the Franks fish sandwich, immense portion of perfectly fried fish and it was out of this world their fried onion straws were amazing and the service was incredible! When you have ownership changes you always worry like I did back when Frank sold out, but will definitely be back

Kim was an amazing serve and really made it an excellent lunch! She was timely and thoughtful. The mahi dip was the best, great taste and portion. Steamed Mayport Shrimp are a must. Thanks for keeping the business going, it’s a Jax Beach staple.

Love the atmosphere sat upstairs at the bar. Hayden was my server was wonderful talking with him. Clam Chowder was just the best and the shrimp. Poboy was delicious as well.
