We are visiting from the Philly area and usually eat here for our hot dog fix. Website says open on Saturday’s so we venture out with friends. It was noon ish and the doors were locked and no one inside. Don’t understand what’s going on !!!

I've been coming here for years. It just not the same as it was before it was sold. Food is still the same but new owners just dont seem very friendly. I thought mayb it was me but everytime its been the same. The lady behind the counter is just not happy and seems like she dont want to be working. I believe she's the owwner. Just a bit disappointed in a place that I've been coming for years.

It's been a while since I've been here and it looks like new ownership. Was disappointed in the service, food and overall experience. By the time my order was taken I was ready to leave. It didn't get better afterwards either. By the time my food arrived I was glad to get out of there. Just very sad experience. In the future if I want a hot dog I'll either stay home or go to All American Hot Dog on Beach Blvd, they have been around a long time and know how to treat their customers and have great food.

I couldn't even eat what I ordered. Bugs scurried when I moved the chair to sit down. They were both adult and babies ( the bugs). The lady waiting on us said it was because they had Maintenance guys working with the door open all morning. The cup I was given was sticky on the outside. The stainless steel surfaces were dirty, streaked with ? Grease, the underside of the lid of the stainless steel hood was caked with black stuff, there was a dirty towel covering the steamed buns. I just couldn't bring myself to eat here. I am surprised that they could pass a board of health inspection.

Amazing hot dogs. We love this place so much. Every time we have a trip to St. Augustine we are sure to come up through the area to stop here for lunch. The flavors and types of hot dogs are amazing. Definitely a family favorite of ours.
Depending on preference you might not be too satisfied here, standard hot dogs, ordered a chili cheese dog & corn dog. Chili was just beans not a fan, and way too much cheese. Corn dog a bit undercooked. Won’t be back but if you like bean only chili go for it.

Working in Jax beach today & was on the hunt for a hot dog stand for lunch. Typed hotdogs into Google maps & found them gem. Literally the juiciest hotdogs I have ever had. They have a great variety of hotdogs & other foods. Owner was the sweetest. Definitely would recommend & I will be coming back. Thank you Hotdog hut for such a pleasant experience.
