Jax Beach Kava Bar

I had a really disappointing experience at Jax Beach Kava. I came in expecting a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere—something that’s typically part of the kava community. Instead, I felt completely unwelcome and was essentially chased out for no clear reason.
There was no attempt at communication, just an abrupt and uncomfortable vibe from the staff that left me feeling disrespected and confused. I’ve visited other kava bars where the environment is warm and inclusive, but sadly, that was not the case here.
If you’re looking for a chill spot to enjoy kava and good company, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. I won’t be returning.

If you’re looking To just have a drink of Kava, meet some friends, or even join a new community. This is the place to go. I came here over a year ago by myself being brand new to Jacksonville… Now, Whenever I walk in at least 4 to 5 people know me by name and ask how I’m doing. The Kava tenders are absolutely phenomenal and the atmosphere is overall very friendly and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend

Always a fun vibe! My husband and I enjoy going here. Both canned and tea options give variety and the location to the beach makes it such a good dual date idea

I’ve been to 4 kava bars in Jax & Out of all of them, Jax bch kava has the strongest kava! 😍 Charlie the kava-tender was absolutely incredible! He was always walking by our table to make sure that our drinks were topped up and if we needed anything. The service was incredible! Also, the music was by for my favorite. I am a huge ODESZA fan & this was the first place I’ve heard heard their music played more than once! I was over the moon! It’s such a fun vibe, the people are so nice! I 10 out of 10 recommend!

Amazing experience, 100% recommend coming here for Kava. Shoutout to Hurricane Clay he’s very genuine and has a lot of life stories to tell! Great guy to talk to! It’s a vibe, with a couple of retro and board games, and the Kava adds to the experience 🤙🤙
