Papa Johns Pizza

Went 40 mins before close to place a takeout order, the door was locked and the closer on August 13th saw me and chose to ignore me at the door.

They combine fresh ingredients and make really crave-able, flavorful food. The chef create and box a good, decent quality pizza with slightly chewy dough.

Their bone-in wings are nice and large which are good with the slightly sweet barbecue flavor. I add ranch.

I slightly enjoy touching up and finishing off their pizza. The original pizza goes well with pineapple. I wish for no ham, middle bake, and high potato starch covered shredded cheese. The pizza is complimented by slightly dipping into the uniquely flavorful and creamy garlic butter sauce. I wish for rich and creamy sauce. A light touch and dash of their special seasoning finishes the meal through the really flavorful and unique combination.

I decided to try a different Papa John’s because Papa John’s corporate had given me a promo code. Got the barbecue Hawaiian chicken pizza and breadsticks. They were delicious. The reason for the four star on service because they were just workers they were not really friendly or anything like that. They did their job. However I have been there before where there was an amazing lady worker. She was either a manager or going for it.

We have used Papa Johns for years, it’s always been our go to over all other pizzas. Last night I was never so disappointed! 1. Gal on phone was hard to understand, 2. She kept trying to sell me more pizza, sides, drinks, 3. Pick up person was early, when we got the pizza home, it looked like it had been sitting and was reheated before adding the toppings. Sauce was dry and very thin, skimpy on the toppings. What’s happened to Papa Johns quality?

Went inside to check on my order . Waited About 3 to 4 minutes and was not helped. So I said, is my pizza ready iand the Employee cussed me out and threatened to slap me. Got the whole thing on video.

The pizza and this location are fine...

But the Papa Johns website, it charged my credit card 4 times in a row, but never sent the pizza order to the actual location. Beyond dumb!

papa johns should be absolutely ashamed of how they exspect employees to perform. Poor girl i’m watching trying to make 20 plus pizzas alone( set up to fail. terrible management. fire who ever it is. get another staff member in. Employee currently alone running 20 pizzas alone is a hard worker. kudos to her.

If you place a pickup order first and then request to have the order delivered, then you’ll be told “no”. It has been confirmed by phone that it is an impossible task to transport a completed food order . It cannot enter a delivery vehicle once ready.
Scientists may research this phenomenon for centuries as this goes against all intuition, logic and reason.

My buddy ordered the wrong pizza and I called in to see if they would remake it for me. I had to wait on hold a bit and they said it hey would remake it for me. (I have a little one and a disabled friend at home right now so this was a huge help)

Kylee was super helpful and courteous. Honestly I can’t believe she was still so nice over the phone and in person when it looked like she was the only one working that night. There was a bit of a wait but understandable.

Someone give that girl a raise lol.

Delivery arrived with one of my order items missing. Tried to call the store and got hung up on. Called back and was answered, but no one would speak to me. All I could hear was store noise my whole way to the store. When I told the employee, he said it was because he was the only one there working. Not only does this affect the customer service, but is also unsafe for the employees to be on shift alone. The employee did promptly make my missing item and apologized. If what the employee said is true, management is to blame for this one.

Order the shack-A-Roni pizza with Italian sausage added, i got a pizza With just italian sausage, call and manager said he will refund. Told him if not I will not ever order with papa John's again. We'll no refund so I will remove the app to order. I will stick to my word, not like this manager. Beach blvd jax fl.

Extremely disappointing...one large pizza and a two liter cost me 39 and change. Pizza was made very poorly. Won't ever do again.
