Our server was pleasant and helpful, although it did feel as if he did not want to go out of his way to answer our questions truthfully, or go the extra mile to confirm with the kitchen. He instead told us what he thought we wanted to hear when we asked questions about ingredients in the dishes. The atmosphere is very nice in the refined dining section of the restaurant, which is where we sat. We dined on a Saturday night, and it did not appear to be very busy. We were surprised that we were able to make a same-day reservation, and there was no line at 6 pm (when we arrived)...and many empty tables when we left at 7:15. My wife and I were delighted to revisit this establishment after nearly 2 years. We had an excellent experience the first time and were on a much anticipated (and rare) date night this time. After being seated, we waited quite some time to place our initial order (2 drinks and 2 entrees), and then waited an excruciating 45 minutes for our entrees to arrive. When the food finally arrived, it was luke warm and so incredibly salty it was inedible. This was hugely disappointing because we had decided to get some very pricey entrees to splurge, and ended up sending it all back. Aside from the massive oversalting, the presentation and portions were also quite miserable considering the prices being asked for these entress. We are sad to say that we will not be returning to the refinery. This place was one of the first restaurants we enjoyed when we moved down to Jacksonville, but unfortunately seems to have steeply declined.

A great view of the ocean to enjoy a quiet meal. Food is always wonderful. Our server, Michael, is personal, professional and went out of his way to make sure that we had a wonderful experience. Only item is the digital menu. We prefer the standard menu which they easily provided. This is one of our favorite restaurants. Great atmosphere, great service, great food makes for a great evening.

We had dinner here for our last night of vacation. We sat in the fine dining area which didn't permit Happy Hour prices which was disappointing. For drinks, I had the Violet Tendencies and my husband had the spice Mule. Both were excellent. For apps, we got the bread service and gator bites and were not disappointed. I ad the soup of the day which was baked potato soup. It was more like a bisque but delicious. My husband had the grilled Caesar salad which was good but had way too much going on-pickled red onions, tomatoes and no croutons. For our main course, I had the crab sea bass which was excellently prepared. The crab topping was a little on the salty side for my taste but paired nicely with the fish. My husband had the pesto fettuccini with blackened chicken which he enjoyed. They did recognize my birthday with a tasty petit four trio which was a very cute. The view was great; looking right over the ocean. Definitely add this place to your itinerary.

I had roses delivered to this restaurant for a surprise birthday dinner, I spoke to Brooke who was extremely kind and professional. I then called back and spoke to Kira and she confirmed my delivery had arrived and then she helped me pick out drinks to send to the table!! I could hear they were busy in the background but both ladies were patient and kind over the phone, thank you for your wonderful service!

PRBSF and 501c3 nonprofit hosted an event here to closeout summer for beast and prostate cancer survivors. I will start by saying I did not expected the unexpected...The set up was great until I realized why there needed to be a walk way left open as a walk thru for the servers to take uncovered food the guest dining upstairs(not cool at all) several times my guest had to clear the walk way. The next thing was..I was never informed that our DJ had to play at a certain sound level..(guest upstairs were complaining it was too loud. We were asked 3 times to turn down the music after we spent our money for the music and the space...close to 3K on a private event) and yes I did mention that on request #3. The food was good, however my spend about on food did not go as far as I would have liked..so when the food ran out we were not allowed to order more (we were willing to pay) and myself and some guest that did not get food went upstairs to order only to be told we could not buy food upstairs. So we were denied while still trying to spend money and then with limitations. Not sure if it was a color thing...So proceed with caution. Our guest did have a great time with the rain. Now our server was awesome she had a great time with us.

We needed to plan a last-minute wedding due to deployment schedules for our daughter, and I cannot say enough about Kira and the team and how they bent over backwards to ensure our event went smoothly and had the elements we requested.
