Beautiful place and atmosphere. Customer service was excellent BUT with it being busy on the weekends especially in a busy area the restaurant should have a two hour table limit. The wait time here is a lot .

Food was great.. the view was great. Service was extremely slow. Our server just never wanted to come check on us. Waited 30 minutes for a glass of wine to come to the table and another 30 minutes for my husband's mixed drink to come (ordered at the same time). Waited almost a full hour after we finished eating to actually leave.

Great place for a drink and appetizer. Mike the bartender is the best! He makes us feel like we have own private bar. And he makes a mean espresso martini! Nice view of pier and beach.

The Sandbar is a beautiful beachside restaurant and bar. The service and atmosphere are both great! The food, on the other hand, was not. Very unseasoned, and the drinks were just ok.

We went to Sandbar for brunch this morning and it was incredible!! We had a large group of 10 plus a baby, and our server, Chase, was one of the most attentive waiters we have had in a while. He was absolutely on his game. (He was also the bartender, and he juggled both duties perfectly.) Our drinks were fantastic, the food was to die for, and the view was beautiful. Highly recommend the chicken and waffles or the flatbread. Every entree gets either two mimosas or two Bloody Mary’s, so you really can’t beat the deal. We will definitely be back.

This place is not only GORGEOUS but the food is great and the Staff are SAINTS!! The view of Jax beach is to die for. The restaurant and bar are immaculate. As a local, I have been searching for an Ocean front restaurant and bar. This place checks all of my boxes. Our server was Valerie, she was patient (I attended with my 7 year old daughter and 95 year old Grandmother), knowledgeable of the menu and accommodating to the many requests of my grandmother. If I could give 10 stars, I would. When my mother and I thought we needed to keep my Grandmother’s requests at a minimum, Valerie called over Matthew (The Manager) and he just added the cherry on top to what my Grandmother needed. I have added this restaurant to my new “go-to” list.

Excellent food! We got the Calamari and Crab Cakes for starters and both were delicious. The smash burger I ordered was cooked perfectly and was featured between a soft and buttery brioche bun..excellent. Seafood salad was very fresh and portion size was generous. Finally, my son loved the children’s chicken tenders and my daughter’s grilled cheese (which the adults all decided we needed at least one bite of when she didn’t finish it) was absolutely delicious and one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I’ve ever had. All in all, our server was attentive, all of the food was delicious and it was about $175 for 7 of us including 7 entrees, 2 starters, 2 alcoholic drinks and a couple of substitutions. What a gem of a night we had here!

Ordered a signature drink it was not very good so returned it . It was a mango frozen drink. Food was okay was expecting a little better menu . Note the brussel sprouts were delish. The flat bread was just b okay and the empanadas needed help tasted frozen and cheap. Service was good had to move because of the table next to us. Will not go back..,

Had reservations at 7, seated on time, waiter came and took drink orders right away but by 7:30, no drinks and waiter never came to take food orders. Restaurant was not busy, wait staff was just standing around.
Great atmosphere, right on the beach. Excellent views, plenty of room. Food and drinks were very good and excellent service and bartenders were great - knowledgeable and experienced.

Utterly disappointing, give this place a skip! We were looking for a place with nice ambiance and good food for lunch. Ordered 2 cocktails and shrimp ceviche app. Waited 45+min for ceviche. When we asked waiter he said printer error and would check on it. When it finally came out it was served in what I would describe as a large ramekin ($16). Looked like 2 shrimp diced up and had ZERO acidity and flavor. Felt like we were eating a cucumber salad in water with a few shrimp pieces. It was tie WORST ceviche I ever had. Table next to us waited also more than 45 minutes for a rice bowl. Half their table was served and other half waited 30 plus minutes for their dishes. Needless to say we asked for check and left to find another lunch spot.

The food, drinks and views were amazing. However, the kitchen and bartenders were very slow and we waited for our food for over an hour after ordering. Additionally the dishes came out at different times - some came far after others finished eating. The server and the manager were very apologetic and handled the situation appropriately.
