Bouncers are super aggressive and do not attempt to de-escalate situations and would rather have a brawl to practically beat someone’s face in. Watched it happen and was super concerned they allow the security to verbally spew slurs and make the situation worse rather than telling the person they’re not welcome. Very unprofessional.

Girl that works at the front sitting with the guys that check ID is very rude and reason we left. She was sitting out there around 5 pm. She was laughing and cracking jokes about people. Not sure how old this little girl is but you really need more mature people working not trailer park trash.

I've been going to Surfer for some time, but after learning last Saturday about their latest hiring decision, I can no longer support this establishment. They recently employed a bouncer who has gone to jail for crimes involving a minor which is public record and can be viewed on core. This is a serious lapse in judgement and raises major concern about customer safety. I strongly urge management to reconsider who they hire for security. Until they take this issue seriously, I wont be back and others should be aware of this situation.

Security staff either peaked in high school or takes their mediocre job way too seriously. Don’t know if they want people there or not based upon how the staff threats people. Feel like your being harassed the entire time you are there.

EDIT: Spoke to Robert. They reviewed the recordings of our visit and found we were wrongfully removed. They took care of us from there.

The security staff needs a talk to, they are very aggressive and seem ready to start a fight at any moment, i been sober for 3 years and this people started acussing me of bein too drunk for being there. INSANE! I believe they may be a bit racist, that's the only thing that makes sense on why a sober person got kick out for being drunk. Very disrespectful, then they lie to the other bars and black listed me from the other bars, this people need to stop doing steroids. Otherwise the bar tenders were fun.

Bouncer are not there to protect you or others! Extremely physical to the point it was considered abuse! This is not a safe place! I’ve had my phone stolen, the customer service is awful, and the bouncers abuse what power they think they have! The comments all are saying the same thing! Be warned! They will also over charge you for drinks!
