I hardly would even go here because it’s cheesy and more guys than women ratio like for every women there is like 15 guys.
My buddy visiting from out of state wanted to go here one Saturday night so we went there. He left ahead of me to bar hop at next bar after he paid his tab. I then paid my tab and was going to join him at next bar but before I did I was told by the cops 👮 that a bartender and manager wanted me banned for no reason per the Cop and this was after I had paid my tab and spent $240 plus a $100 tip.
The Cop didn’t know why but I said no worries I actually do not like this bar and never really go here except for tonight cause my buddy wanted to go here. The Cop laughed with me lol. 😂 Now I have a legit reason to tell my buddies who want to go here that I can’t cause I am banned for no reason lol 😂 not mad just think this is the worst bar in jax beach period lol 😂
Another buddy of mine also told me he was banned recently too for tipping the bartender 20% which the bartender got mad at him and said that is too low and you are cheap before having him banned seriously lol 😂?
Must be Duval beach bar politics no respect for the customers just power tripped bartenders. I now go to a few bars that treat me like family in Jax Beach where I have actually caused real trouble but they let me back in.

I am Hispanic and Alexa treated me as if I were from another planet, poorly educated, poorly treated, I only went to distract myself because I am working nearby, I was with my co-workers and she treated us very badly.

Great core group of people. They are super friendly, respectable, always welcome you with a smile and a greeting and very social when time allows. Even with the Insanity that ensues after 2100 to 2200, they still keep their composure and provide the same service. So long as you dont bring the drama, even security is friendly. I tested out a few of the bars in the area the first two weeks of football season and, while there was one that came close to me choosing it, because of those cool people and great vibes, I chose to spend the rest of the season there. I definitely recommend this spot!
Parking: Parking lot is small (wraps around 1/2 the building) but free in the earlier hours. It later gets closed off to accommodate the extra peak time employees.

Will is the man
The the place and music
During games music is played way too loud can't talk or carry on a conversation. Food is inconsistent one day it's good the next day it's not.

William is awesome, I lost my phone and he went inside to find it.
As always I am Pro William. He goes above and beyond
Always fun place to go, wish it was a little bigger. But the DJ is always great.

I went to meet some coworkers. They r half my age, so its not a place for me. But it was a fun Saturday night. Everyone was having a great night. So many people behind the bar n very helpful. They came by often to check on us.
An they even carded me. I laughed cause I'm 62. ? they were so cute at the door.

I pulled into the parking lot after dropping something under my car seat. It was before hours on a Sunday. Saw a man standing out front, figured by the blue shirt he was an employee. He went inside and I stepped out my car to look under the drivers seat. He stepped back out and said this wasn't a public parking lot! I said ok, I dropped something under my seat and was looking for that, not parking. I understand that they probably do get people who park there for the beach etc., but maybe next time access the situation first. I haven't ever been to this bar before, but this exchange didn't really make me want to come back.
I practically lived here back in my 20’s. This place is the spot to be on the weekends. The staff are friendly and fun. There’s always people packed in so make sure to get there early before the line starts.

What I love about the Ritz is it reminds me a lot of my favorite college bar. Cheap drinks loud mid thousands hip-hop music a makeshift dance floor later on the night and just wall-to-wall packed if you or someone who is going out with your squad in your 20s to early 30s it is the place to go to. They also have food out front, they have billiards. I like to play pool and bumper ball and darts. They got a little bit of everything there in addition to some good old-fashioned beach bar vibes.
