More dried up old breasts than chic a filet…. Not willing to make fresh food. No thanks

Krispy krunchy on Dixon has great food I will admit but there is a new woman there who is rude as hell because I am white she can almost whine at me in Spanish but I am one of the few boys that can speak Spanish I found her to be very rude and I don't care if she was talking to her kid I had to wait almost 15 minutes for her to just get off the phone then she started speaking to me in Spanish and she realized I knew what she was saying I told her I was not coming back because of her and she told me to go get f****** and not to come back I can go to the little grocery gas station and get the same chicken without the hassle and sometimes those people smile at you I do not recommend Krispy krunchy Chicken on Dixon anymore and it's all because of her

Even though KKC has some amazing food, the service here in Cocoa is completely horrible. I make it a habit to support Black-owned businesses in my area, but when I encounter horrible service practically every time I go in, there comes a time when one just needs to let it go. For instance, the first-time I was ever there they messed up my chicken wings order by throwing a couple of tenders in instead of the wings. Who does that? The next time I was there the man at the counter was literally talking personal business on the phone in front of me for 7 minutes before he even took my order. One time I called to place an order and I was put on an indefinite hold - I literally waited on hold for 15 minutes and no one ever answered before I hung up in frustration. Another time I called ahead to place my order, was told that it would be ready in 20 minutes, and when I arrived 20 minutes later I was told that they were just putting my batch of chicken in and I would have to wait 15 minutes! WTF? Why even call in ahead of time if the order can't be ready when I get there? However, last night was the final straw. I arrived at KKC at 9:30p to get some chicken, but when I arrived the place was locked with that same guy as before sweeping the floors. Funny though, because the bright neon sign was lit as OPEN and the hours of operation on the doors said that their closing time was 10:30p. The guy saw me and tried to ignore me and when I tapped on the glass to get his attention, he had the audacity to look at me like I was bothering him and his closing process. He motioned to his wrist as if to say they were closed and I'm looking back at him with a bewildered look saying, "YOU STILL HAVE ONE HOUR LEFT." I could've taken the whole "Daylight Savings Time" excuse except DST had happened a week prior to that. All in all, I think for all of the times I went to KKC to get food, I only had a good experience TWICE. That's pathetic. And I am done - doesn't matter how good the food is if the service is downright horrible and lousy.

Chicken is good with a little kick. It is fresh so expect to wait for your order to be ready. Prices are comparable to most chicken places.

Oh my gosh, the best Fried Chicken I have ever had. Rice and beans, holy smokes delicious. I love everything about this place. Wish you had a store in Phoenix, Arizona.

Was with family so we decided to order a variety of things and share. Chicken tenders, fried fish, fried shrimp, fries, gumbo, jambalaya, mac & cheese and biscuits. My parents went crazy over the gumbo. If they lived close they would eat it several times a week. Mom was crazy for the fish too. I liked everything but the chicken was perfect. Crunchy, spicy breading and juicy meat. They offer dipping sauces but I can't imagine altering the flavor with sauce. The chicken is perfect as is! Service: the young lady working the counter was super nice. Greeted everyone like they were family. I took one star off because the place is tiny, the menu board is incomplete/inaccurate and they don't have cocktail sauce for the shrimp (why not?).

I guess I can't review the food because after driving 10 miles to taste this chicken that I read rave reviews on when I arrived I was told that they don't serve chicken on Sundays. I would think that Sundays Would be the main day to serve chicken. I wrote their corporate office to complain. That was almost 2 weeks ago now and I have not received a reply from them. I probably will not go back again.

Best chicken in Brevard County.... you just have to look at the chicken to tell it's not cooked the same as the Publix or Walmart fried chicken..Its light golden in color and crispy..not dark and cooked in old oil... I used to sell premium frying oil and I can tell they really care about their product.. The owner is constantly cleaning the seating area and keeping the place looking good..I would definitely recommend to try...

We stop in every few weeks and get chicken, red beans & rice and biscuits. We spend half of what we would at other places, and the food is MUCH better and is fresh. Very tiny place, we recommend getting takeout. If it takes a while, it's because they are cooking it fresh. Finally found a spicy chicken place that doesn't put bell peppers in everything!

We were in a rush to get back home to finish hurricane preparation and were starving. That is when I spied Krispy Krunchy Chicken. Everything was great - the chicken, jumbalia, red beans and rice, biscuits, the staff. Except the wait was way too long. I did not ask why and they did not say but it was at least 30 minutes. We will be back again to what it is like in real time. Oh yes, there were very few places open at the time.

I stopped by this location for lunch. I was greeted by the employee behind the counter as soon as I walked in the door. The aroma of the fried chicken was fantastic and set my mouth to watering immediately. The menu was easy to read and the employee was able to answer my questions about the different selections. I chose to have the chicken tenders and biscuit. Both were delicious! The chicken was fried just right to a nice crunch but not over cooked. The taste of the chicken was amazing to me. It had a nice chicken flavor but was well seasoned to give it a bit more dimension than what you usually get in a fried chicken place. Very nice. The coating on the chicken was not greasy or overly spiced and it had a light black pepper heat in the finish that was a nice touch to the flavor of the chicken and fried batter. The biscuit was also delicious and had a light coating of butter and honey on it. There are a variety of sauces to have with the chicken if you like, however I feel the chicken was great just perfect served as it was without any of the sauce on it. The meal was served hot to me and was fresh. Next time I go back I will try one of the sides and report on that. The restaurant was small, but there was plenty of room inside to sit and eat. The outside and inside of the restaurant was neat and clean. I like that it looks family owned and operated and the food is fantastic.

Not a bad place. Doesn't seem to be a lot of room for seating at least in my opinion. Food wasn't bad at all but haven't been driven to return a second time yet.

Had a nice fried chicken meal here. Surprised it was so good as the place is small and not much to look at. Prices are reasonable. Food is great. Chicken is crispy and crunchy. Biscuits are warm and filling. Enjoyed my visit.

The chicken was okay, but nothing special. While ordering two dinners, we seemed to have a 'failure to communicate,' and I never DID understand 'what comes with' the dinners....I finally just said, "This is what I want," and let the guy at the register ring it up. The place was virtually 'dead' at 7pm on a Wednesday night, with two people waiting for their orders, and twice as many employees in the back, so one might think 'someone' could have filled the empty ice machine on the drink dispenser, cleaned-up the dirty cups on the table, etc. We had to wait for someone to bring out a 5-gallon bucket of ice and fill the ice maker. (And I find it unusual that they don't offer brewed sweet tea at a fried chicken place in the South.) The chicken was okay, a bit dry; the mashed potatoes were fine; and the coleslaw was okay, but just not to my taste, as it's got a vinegar base and a tart flavor, instead of being a sweet slaw. (But that's a personal preference.) Sadly, I think we can watch this business 'come & go' in this location, just like the similar businesses that came before it, unless they get better management. * BUT, TO BE FAIR, THE PEOPLE THERE ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND VERY NICE.
