Was with family so we decided to order a variety of things and share. Chicken tenders, fried fish, fried shrimp, fries, gumbo, jambalaya, mac & cheese and biscuits. My parents went crazy over the gumbo. If they lived close they would eat it several times a week. Mom was crazy for the fish too. I liked everything but the chicken was perfect. Crunchy, spicy breading and juicy meat. They offer dipping sauces but I can't imagine altering the flavor with sauce. The chicken...
Best chicken in Brevard County.... you just have to look at the chicken to tell it's not cooked the same as the Publix or Walmart fried chicken..Its light golden in color and crispy..not dark and cooked in old oil... I used to sell premium frying oil and I can tell they really care about their product.. The owner is constantly cleaning the seating area and keeping the place looking good..I would definitely recommend to try...
We stop in every few weeks and get chicken, red beans & rice and biscuits. We spend half of what we would at other places, and the food is MUCH better and is fresh. Very tiny place, we recommend getting takeout. If it takes a while, it's because they are cooking it fresh. Finally found a spicy chicken place that doesn't put bell peppers in everything!
