A large group of family and friends enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Pam’s. The southern style food was simply delicious. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. We simply just could not have asked for a better food or service.

Pam’s is the quintessential Deep South restaurant. The front porch with the big old fashioned rocking chairs welcomes your in. As you enter warm friendly greetings are heard all around. There’s a large “community table” up front where the locals all sit together and swap stories and conversation. The ambiance derives from its traditional Southern setting and a bright spotless clean. Plenty of tables and booths are dotted around the area and there is a larger dining area in the back for families. And the food! Our favorite is the buffet with its down home menu of fried chicken like your granny used to make. Crispy outside, tender juicy inside - the perfect combination. Of course there are other meat options like beef stew and fried fish available. Side dishes like peas mashed potatoes and gravy squash sweet potato casserole baby carrots macaroni and cheese are delicious and servings are generous. Ordering from the menu is another culinary treat. There’s always homemade dessert as well. The staff are genuinely pleased to serve you and smiles are abundant. This special down home restaurant is worth a trip to experience and Pam herself visits each table to be sure your dining experience is a happy one. Give Pam’s Country Kitchen a try. We were in the area buying a motorcycle and was looking for a spot to grab lunch before heading home. This was the closest restaurant, so we took a chance. You can either have the buffet or order off the menu. We chose the buffet as it smelled amazing. There was fried chicken, beef tips in gravy, mac and cheese, turnip greens, beans, rice, cornbread, dinner rolls plus more. I had the chicken, cornbread and turnip greens. Everything was delicious. The waitress came around with a small bowl of peach cobbler and it was really good too. At the buffet, you are served, so everyone isn't stirring around in the food and touching everything. The service was excellent and the dining room was clean and inviting. I will definitely stop in again when I am in the area!

tried the Bacon Cheeseburger. great burger! because I'm a fried chicken nut the wonderful ladies that worked there were gracious enjoy to let me try a drumstick. OMG! wonderful chicken! I ended up taking all the chicken that was left on the buffet as they were closing down at 2! made for a great dinner! I'll be going back soon
