Downtown Benny's Pizza

Had to drive from Toledo Ohio to get a real pizza.havent pizza since last year.

Ordered a pie delivered last night. Took forever due to the delivery driver making other prior stops before getting to DBP. However it took him a matter of minutes from your shop to my condo. Pizza was extremely cold and dried up. If you offer delivery at least cook it when drivers are there. Not only that, this pizza IMO should never have been delivered. You knew how long the pizza had been sitting around. In fact the pizza looks the same this morning as when delivered.

Just left with a to go pizza the lady at the front was nice but the men behind her were shaking their head and seemed annoyed that I had asked for croutons and extra dressing with my salad. Would’ve been better if they were not rude. No one wants to feel like they are bothering someone for asking them to do their job.

Dean, the manager, does an excellent job. He is friendly, professional, and always makes sure customers have a great experience. The pizza place runs smoothly because of his leadership, and you can tell he truly cares about quality and service.

Using a third party for delivery service is terrible. Order came wrong and no resolution to fix it. Sad because I’m a regular customer and it’s a terrible service.

I was around town spending time with my parents after an evening event at the local Botanical Gardens at Port St. Lucie for a Christmas Event.

The service was good while the wait was a little long, but for a Sunday I knew it was Busy evening which I did understand why.

The pizza was good I've enjoy it a lot even dough the pizza was expansive including the Stromboli which came at a total of $46 and change. The best thing was the Pizza itself which I did enjoy but the Stromboli wasn't all that exciting it was just to much onions and less meat inside, what I notice was the onions was still raw and under cooked. If I do come back it'll only be the Pizza but not for the Stromboli again.

While I was waiting for my food, I did spend $3.77 for a drink which holy molly! I was just ripped off badly!, Oh hell no! I will never pay that much for a sparkling water drink but my wallet was weeping... I took a big hit on my wallet.

I've tried many pizzerias which I've had a better experiences than this, this place, as someone that had came from New Jersey and someone like myself that have worked in a pizzeria myself when I was much younger. I will not come back here again! while my step dad did pay for take-out I wouldn't have pay all that much for a full pizza pie. It was meh! but not all that great either way! For anyone else do not come here. Could had a better experience from a franchise like little Cesars Pizza or from another Mom and Pop shop!

We ordered a large pepperoni & a Benny's special. Both were cooked to perfection, with a nice little crunch of the bottom. The place is small with just a few tables and a window bar. They specialize with carry out orders, but we dined in. There's nothing like getting a hot fresh pizza and eating it right away. Service was great as well as the pizza. Keep up the good work Benny's!

Spoke with Tony! He’s my angel tonight, bc my daughter, Isabella, who’s 25 weeks pregnant has been in the hospital for 4 days w kidney problems, miserable as can be, and in excruciating pain, he’s the only place to deliver to her🙏🏼 he was super kind, engaging, and on his game! I’m thankful!! My new 1st call!!!

Been eating there food for years, great food
But having a 3.95 del charge that goes to the store and Not the driver (No Co.Vehicle) is Outrageous to me. I will NOT Enjoy there food again unless the del. Charge goes to the driver or it's eliminated.

Bringing my Dad home from running him around for his errands, he requested I also stop to pick him up dinner to take home with him.

He wanted a Spaghetti and Meatball dinner. He handed me a $20 bill and in I went while he stayed in the car because we were in a hurry.

The place was empty and one of the men greeted me right away. I placed his order and asked if it came with a salad? The gentleman replied no it comes with 2 garlic knots but I could get a salad for $3.95 more, I declined.

And then he told me the total, $20.21! I'm like wait, $20 for Spaghetti & Meatballs?? As I only had a $20 with me I told him I had money in the car. He was kind enough to take the .21 cents out of his tip jar to cover the total.

Now please note, my father is very elderly and he and I are both on tight budgets. So when I went back to the car and I told him I didn't have enough money to even tip the poor guy Dad he said why? When I told him about Spaghetti dinner was $20 AND it didn't even come with a salad he was very upset. He claimed, it should only have been $13.95 or something and a couple extra dollars for 2 Mballs. I did ask Dad perhaps he was looking at an very outdated menu? He didn't know.?

So when I went back in with the borrowed .21 cents plus a tip and then I asked the gentleman to check the price please?

And sure enough, Dad indeed have an outdated menu.

However, the lesson here is if you want just Spaghetti & Meatballs it's expensive! (For us anyway)
