We had Reservations but seated 45 minutes laterFood was terrible, grouper was not grouper, the other 2 friends commented on they would not go back, table next to us was unhappy as we were and they said they wouldn’t be there again.this review may help the owners to better themselves but we will not go back!

We read several glowing reviews about this restaurant and its food. “ Best Crab Cakes Ever “ and “ A Hidden Treasure”. I hesitate to write this but whoever wrote those wonderful reviews was either accustomed to prison food or totally stoned. We both ordered the carb cake sandwiches. $17.95. They were small , greasy and tasted fishy. They were served on a “ Brioche bun” AKA A small toasted and also greasy hamburger bun. The crab patties were topped with a leaf of iceberg lettuce and a tasteless cold slice of tomato. One side was a monkey dish of their homemade Cole slaw. It took me a few forkfulls to figure out what the strange taste was . It had pieces of pineapple mixed in it. Different but not delicious. Another side was onion rings. These were the kind that as soon as touched their breading falls off level a bowl of greasy onion and at least three tablespoons of oil on the bowls bottom. On the positive side the place looks clean and the wait service was friendly and fast. Souders was a huge disappointment . The food,was barely acceptable. It’s presentation was zero and it is pricy considering the small portions. Not recommended

What a wonderful nice place to visit. Kim, our server, was very upbeat and professional. She was very kind to us she really made our visit memorable ?. I will share this location with my friends and family. I highly recommend this little nugget of a getaway. We had the steak tacos for lunch, its very excellent and for dessert we had bread pudding warmed very delicious. You can always count on Sauder’s for a delicious meal. We’ve been going to Sauder’s for years & have never gotten a bad meal. Consistently excellent. And Carolyn is the best waitress. Explains the menu well, friendly, funny, professional, and is a whirlwind. She never stops. Highly recommend.

Wonderful staff and service, but terribly mediocre food at best. The world famous crab cake is akin to the world famous cup of coffe from the movie "elf" - it just ain't folks!The miniscule serving of watery rice under my kokomo shrimp and nearly half plate of mushy green beans were also very disappointing.$300 (after tip) for 2 adults and 3 kids (no one was drinking btw) was a terrible waste in my opinion...
