They used to have a clam pizza that was great, they no longer have that but have some other good pizzas and the eggplant parmigiana is good.
vegan pie was awesome!
I came inside to wait for the rest of my party and was given a table immediately! Good pizza, friendly waiter.

My family loves this pizzeria. Why? Because while we wait, my little plays with the plastic veggies and kitchen materials- very entertaining for her. Then, once we sit down, my little can color on their cute coloring pages with their own basket of crayons or play with pizza dough. Besides the built in kid entertainment, staff is super kind and helpful and they take care of my food allergy (dairy & soy). Their willingness to ensure I'm enjoying my meal while being food safe is so heart warming to me. Drinks are phenomenal! The mocktails do not disappoint! They get packed on weekends but the wait hasn't been ridiculous.
Vegetarian options: You can absolutely find hearty veggie dishes here. Vegan- I'm not sure.
Dietary restrictions: Although I couldn't find an allergen menu, different servers, on different nights, have read labels for me, asked chefs and recommended alternatives for my dairy/soy allergy.
Kid-friendliness: Absolutely! They give kids pizza dough to play with at the table. There's a kids' kitchen (tiny segment) area for them to play with toys. They have coloring sheets and a basket of crayons. Decor and music is family friendly.

The food is delicious especially the fries with the aoli dipping sauce. The wait staff is always nice and always greets me with a smile and always asked if I have been taken care of. Excellent service

Great handcrafted cocktails and specialty menu
items. I was impressed by the fresh and seasonal pairings. Very much worth the price. I asked a lot of questions, and they not only answered them, but my questions felt like they acontinued to anchor their responses in a clear and direct manor. It was all cohesive and a great dinner!! Thank you, Blue Highway!

I have been here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. Lunch was great, service was amazing and the waitstaff was so nice. I ordered a gluten free Margherita pizza and I really loved it! Dinner was quite disappointing though. The service wasn't great. We had table of 6 and everyone's food came out at different times, mine was 15 minutes after everyone else got their food. I ordered a gluten free Lombardo Pizza. I will say this was unlike any other pizza I have had mainly because there was a massive amount of arugula tossed on top of my pizza. It was more of a salad with a little bit of pizza crust which was NOT what I was expecting. the arugula is almost last on the ingredients list followed by olive oil. I would not recommend that pizza. I added a photo of the pizza AFTER I took the arugula off and the excessive amount of arugula that filled an entire plate that was initially piled on top of the pizza. It was just a bit odd. The service was about average, we never had refilled water cups and once we ordered food, we never saw our server again until she brought us the check.

I've been here a few times so far and this is one of the few places that I enjoy trying new things. It's hard to have a favorite dish here because everything I've had so far is so delicious! The service and food is always amazing! If you're looking for the best pizza place in town, this is it!
Editing my original review: Last night on July 19, I went to Blue Highway, after not going for a year. After a 30+ minute wait, after being told it'd be 20, turns out they forgot to notify us that our table was ready. Then the server was by far the worst interaction with a server I've experienced. Matthew was rude from the beginning, took a long time to come take our orders, bring us anything. I know my pizza sat at the window because the cheese was already hardening.
Upon receiving my receipt, I saw a "service charge for 3%" I asked about it and made a comment to my table that things like that should be illegal because it's a surprise after you've already had the food. The server got very defensive, keep in mind I wasn't saying it to him and he became condescending. After I pay, he stands beside me and pulls up my tip, says "Oh Woooow" I ignored that. Then as I was leaving, he says "That's not cool" I turned around and said "because you received a $5 tip?" He responds very snarky about it. I'm sorry but you are not required to tip 20+% especially when the service isn't great and comes with a side of attitude. I regret giving him anything at all after seeing how he acted.
Then I ask for a manger, he storms on slamming doors AND DOESN'T GET THE MANAGER. I go up to two woman standing at the check-in stand and ask for one of them to get the manager. Turns out one of them is the manager, she was standing 7 feet away. So, I know she heard at least some of this while I was mentioning to my friends I was going to wait for him to get the manager. She apologized and gave me a $25 gift card. However, after this interaction, I'm not sure I can even come back to this location. I have never, NEVER, experienced anything like this from a place of business. Keep in mind, I was in a group and my friends tipped generously, even though, it wasn't deserved for his service.
Matthew needs some better training on how to just walk away from a table and keep his attitude behind closed doors.

We really enjoy this restaurant everything is hot and fresh. Their pizzas are wonderful, I usually get their scampi pizzetta, but I wanted to try something different. I ordered one of the lunch specials, 1/2 sandwich and salad for 15.00. I had the Apple Pecan Chicken Salad sandwich, made with roasted chicken, apple,pecans,sun-dried cherries, onion, lettuce, tomato and digonase on fresh baked focaccia bread. The salad was the Micanopy salad consisting of fresh garden greens, carrots, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onions. Hubby had the roasted turkey club. It has roast turkey breast, bacon, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, and roasted garlic aioli. It comes with house made pickles, a combination of dill and bread and butter, and chips, or you can upgrade, 5.00, the chips for Tuscan fries, definitely do they are awesome . Dip them in the garlic aioli sauce. Yum. We usually are so full, and we did get a to go box, but we had to try the Key lime tart. I'm so glad we did it was so creamy and tarty and the crust was amazing. They only down fall is the hard wood seats. Just wish they had cushions on them for these old bones.
