We were originally from the Northeast and we know great seafood when we find it. Well, we found it several years ago at Chowder Heads. We try to go once a month or so because it is a 45 minute trip to get there. It is worth it. Try the "Lobster Pie" or "Shrimp and Lobster Scampi". Captain Gary
The New England Clam Chowder that was sold as white creamy base was at best, one could call it beige. Then we get the fried clams with bellies which were not cooked as we get in Maine in crumbs selection.....maybe they should consider doing them in batter and; they looked like an abortion in the basket.....certianly not worth $28.00. The /stuffies we had were mostly bread crumbs, which were burnt, and they tried to hide this by folding them over and again, try finding the clams - good luck. Will never go back.....you want good lobster and New England cooking....visit New England or a better upscale restaurant in Jupiter or Keys
Food was absolutely delicious, excellent service. Great place for New England seafood. Outstanding lobster pie.
Great fresh oysters. Nice diverse selections of entree and sandwiches. Prompt and alert service.
Delicious food! Great outdoor seating. But they do need to renovate the inside with new tables and chairs.
Had an extremely bad experience. Our reservation was at 6pm server took our order right away but food did not arrive until 7:30pm. We had questioned where food was several times and were told it was being cooked. Will not go back!
Lobster in lobster roll was dry, chewy and flavorless. Mayo tasted strange and included no celery. Very disappointed
We were at a table for 6. There were no light bulbs over our table and in other empty light sockets in the ceiling. Our table was not next to a window and we found it very dim. I have asked about this before and asked our waitress that night how come there were no lights. No satisfactory answer except she would try to find out and tell us next time we went there
Food was good (small portions of seafood entrees). We are were still hungry after. Smash burger was nice size and presented well. New England chowder was very good. Crinkle cut with old bay is something I liked. Outdoor seating was very tight. Probably better for parties of 2 outside. We had party of 6 and faced the window of other diners and very tight. We were not able to sit across from each other so it was one row of 6 people side by side. Hard to expect that from the pictures provided so we were a little disappointed. Service was good and waitress was friendly and attentive.
Great service with Nick and delicious fresh seafood. We made a reservation which is a must during busy season. We ate outdoors and had a wonderful time. Nick provided excellent service even though he was extremely busy. The lobster rolls were the best we ever had along with the chowder, ceaser salad, shrimp cocktail, and scallop rolls. Dr Hans Von Mueller was our wine of choice and complimented our meal deliciously. Thanks Nick for a wonderful evening and we'll be back soon!

Our experience was excellent. Our waiter, Nick, was professional, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. Our food was great and prepared just right. The clam chowder was one of the best we have had and that is saying something since we are from Boston. The onion strings and the sautéed green beans along with the clam strips were prepared just right. We will return again.
Overall the general consensus of 4 diners was good. The service was lacking, ambience minimal, although, the quality of food was very good with one exception, the lobster roll. We have enjoyed lobster rolls from “Red Eats” in Maine to southern Florida and are quite aware they only have knuckles and claws meat. The roll served didn't meet many of the local restaurants serving the same.
Nice little location tucked away, moved here 3 yrs ago, saw all the commercials and thought we'd stop in. Was a while before approached by a server. A lot of employees, seemed to be unorganized. Chowder just ok. Husband ordered Burger and onion straws. I told him don't order a burger from a seafood place, oh well. Felt ill all evening probably onion strings, tasted like fried in old oil or with fish. We brought the leftovers home. Some fell on the ground. 😄 Lot of grease from little pieces. MAHA

We were seated quickly but had to ask four times for place settings. The Manhattan and New England chowders were excellent as were the shrimp, crab cakes and cornbread. I was never offered a refill on my beverage nor were we offered dessert. The poor service detracted from what should have been an excellent dining experience.

Although food was good the cleanliness was disturbing. S&P shakers on table filthy. Table and silverware so dirty and greasy.
