I came here for lunch, I wanted something good to eat and a beer, upon arriving it was a nice atmosphere, lots of beer options which is nice, it’s a self service for your food which is pretty cool and probably easier for the staff!
The food was okay, but the prices were high for frozen steak, and frozen meatballs that were reheated and sold as a 19$ sandwich. Do better. Customers watch the staff make the food. The chips were stale and not salted. They were most definitely fried hours before, you can see buckets of pre fried chips sitting all over the kitchen/ on top of fridges in random nooks along with the chefs not washing hands between dishes. I definitely would not return for food or in general. When I go out drinking I’m looking for affordable food that doesn’t break the bank since I break the bank buying drinks as it is. Especially not cheap frozen meat for 19$ a sandwich.
The meat in both sandwiches tasted frozen. 19$ for frozen meat from Cheney brothers or US foods that was bought wholesale and resold for that amount is crazy to me. Especially in such a nice area. Please do better.
(I am a butcher and it’s obvious when you are sold frozen meats you can taste it) - if you used better quality meat that cheesesteak would’ve been amazing it was dry and tasted freezer burnt. The beer cheese was a nice touch on top and it had a beautiful amount of onions-
I wouldn’t recommend this place to eat to anybody. A simple side of fries is outrageous. And the food is not quality for the price.
Although if you are looking for a variety of drink selections and a place to watch tv this would be a great option for you. They don’t have pool tables or any activities. They do have a stage for live bands to play which is nice.

Have been here a few times. Always have a good time. LOTS of great beer choices!! The bartenders are good about explaining what they have on tap. The food is good and they have a fair amount of variety.

The pretzel’s are so good! Have to get them, the beer selection is great. The band, VERY confused. Supposed to be a “Blues” but I’m sorry (12/20), not my taste and not even close to Blues. They literally played one song for 20 minutes and it was not “Stairway to Heaven”. Was OK.
Food great
Service great

I don't like beer or bar food, but I love DAS. This place is the definition of a neighborhood bar. They're so involved in the community and host so many events. My friends and I go every week for trivia. They also have music on the weekends, host watch parties for big sporting events, and have big block parties on certain holidays (like New Year's Eve, 4th of July, and Octoberfest). They have plenty of cider and sour beers for non-beer drinkers like me. Plus, they have really good kombucha. And while I'm not in the mood for bar food that often, the fried food at DAS is good. (If you're going to eat here, don't try and go too healthy. Bar food is what they do best.) They have some of the best sweet potato fries in town. The fried cheese curds are good, but definitely designed to be shared with a big group. And I really like their bratwurst sliders.
Vegetarian options: One of our friends is vegetarian, and he has no problem finding food here. He likes the black bean burger.
Parking: There's street parking if you can get it or there's a free parking garage about one block away.
Kid-friendliness: This place is super casual and kid-friendly during the day and early evenings. They have a kids' menu. It might get a little loud for younger kids later in the evenings when they have an event or band.

Food was good and can't complain about quality or flavor but the portion size is a joke. Got the sliders and the patty only covered half the bun. It's already a mini burger, that's just ridiculous. Can't justify spending the money.
We had the Heretic Tangerine brew on draft and the Mango Rum Punch. Both were delicious. Staff is vert accommodating. Getting ready to watch live band while watching college football and sitting outside. Great place!
