I took my 89-year-old mom here this evening and we were the only gringo diners so I guess that proves that the place is authentic. The food is great. As others have noted, if it says "chicken" on the menu you should expect bones as well. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and enough of them speak English that you won't have to get out Google Translate if you're incompetent in Spanish. The chicken soup was especially good (it's a $14 dish that two can split or it could be your entire meal).

Found this little gem on google. It did not disappoint! Restaurant was clean, was greeted right away by one of the owners, William, and we were seated in a few minutes. Food was excellent! My husband had the Pepian de Pollo which he loved. And I had an Al Pastor and a Barbacoa taco which were fresh and delicious. Guacamole and the tamale stood out, too. All around great good and service. Will definitely be back.

What a great place to enjoy a Guatemalan food. Very good and I can't rave enough. Hubby had their red chicken stew and I had skirt steak. I enjoyed my meal tremendously, particularly the black beans. Hubby liked his food only did not realize it was chicken with bones so that took a little bit of enjoyment. But the food was absolutely delicious and flavor rich.Small little hole in the wall that is fantastic food with flavor.
