Maybe I had too high of expectations. Food was not the best: seafood paella was more of a risotto and had so much peas, that it didn’t taste seafood. I ordered the octopus and it was not fully cooked on the thickest part. Oysters were pricey but they were indeed good and fresh! We went on a Saturday, and it felt like a sports bar - crowd were super loud watching basketball game and it was not enjoyable. I don’t think it was worth the price and probably won’t come back.

Overall, we had a good experience here. The food was decent and the menu had plenty of options, but it felt a little overpriced for what you get. We went during happy hour and didn’t realize until after ordering that you have to sit at the bar to get the happy hour prices. No one mentioned it, even though the bar was just a few feet away. It was also a pretty chilly, so we skipped sitting outside and ended up at a table right by the door, which made it a bit cold. Nothing that completely ruined the night, but a few small things that added up. Still a nice spot with a good vibe overall.

I love this place!! It was recommended to me by one of the valets at the Breakers hotel and I am so grateful! The food was outstanding. The best Mahi Mahi sandwich I’ve ever had, and it had coleslaw on it! Yum. All the dishes the 3 of us had included a unique twist or sauce that elevated it. Our server Alex was enthusiastic, sweet, quick, helpful and has a great energy. She even chose the perfect bday dessert for one of us. The table outside has a beautiful view of the lighthouse. I can’t wait to go back.

Disappointing. We’re regulars at Captain Charlie’s and wanted to try Lucky Shuck for a change, having heard good things. Our group of three arrived for our reservation and were seated right away. We were looking forward to hearing about the catch of the day. Twenty minutes went by and no one even looked in our direction. Another group of three were then sat right behind us - they were immediately welcomed by a waitress, attended to with water, asked for their drink order and given the specials. I listened in, trying to plan ahead so that I might order everything at once to avoid more service delays. The waitress left our neighboring table and four more people passed by us without even a glance in our direction. With little hope that our evening would improve, we gave up and left. My dad stopped by the hostess on the way out to let her know and she just said, “sorry.” Back to Captain Charlie’s!
What a great place. I loved the view and the food. I tried triple tail fish for the first time. It was amazing. The fish dip was another of my favorites. Great experience.

This is a must-see if you want to enjoy yourself with good food, drinks, and an amazing staff. The view isn't bad also, but we really enjoyed seeing that there was a place where you could enjoy your meal and enjoy watching your children having fun in the playground for them. You won't be disappointed with this wonderful restaurant.
