Most everything about the restaurant was fine except the hostess. Made a reservation they asked if I wanted it inside or outside. I requested outside. When we arrived they sat us at a table under a north wind blowing air conditioning system INSIDE. I said I requested outside - she said that's not guaranteed. I was not told thaton the phone I was asked if I wanted outside. We opted to wait the 30 minutes for an outside table and was given a table just outside the bar door....
We dined here many years ago and weren’t entirely satisfied with our experience, but decided to give it another try last night since our favorite restaurant nearby had a two-hour wait. Upon arrival, we were informed of a 45-minute wait, which was reasonable for a Saturday night without a reservation. We opted to wait in the lounge area since the bar was full.

We had friends visiting during Christmas week and decided to try this restaurant for the first time. When I called to make a reservation, the receptionist said they were fully booked. However, I checked online and saw plenty of availability. After calling back to ask, the receptionist reluctantly confirmed the reservation. It felt like she might have been trying to limit bookings for an easier workday.
