I've been here plenty of times and the Hobe sound location. I was there Sunday morning for breakfast and was not pleased. My order of eggs had a cock roach IN IT. The waiter did not noticed it and no body offered to take the meal off my bill or discount my check. I am a server and have been in the restaurant business for 10 plus years. My job has had a roach or 2 in the past and the manger has always offered a discount of some sort. This place didn't bother too. The lady took my plate away after I called her back to remove the plate from my table. She then brought me new eggs but by then my appetite was gone. I was not pleased and will not be returning. Being I spent almost $60 on 4 people I would of taken a discount for my roach eggs. Not to happy and will no longer be recommending this place.

A little hole in the wall diner. The food was great and the waitress was exceptionally friendly. I was in for a quick breakfast and cup of coffee.

I ordered through Uber Eats, having never heard of this place. My experience was mixed so let me break it down..
I will say that I am surprised to see them advertising “generous portions”. This may be the case if you dine in but in my personal experience, this is quite laughable. To be fair, their prices are proportionate to the small portions but I would not be advertising “generous portions”. More like “healthy rations” or “responsible servings”.
While we’re on the negative side of things. I requested extra syrup and powdered sugar on my french toast and this request went ignored. The powdered sugar was nonexistent and the one small cup of syrup insufficient. Also, I ordered hash browns and they didn’t even have the decency or common sense to include ketchup packets. It is the little things like this that make or break a business. As far as client satisfaction goes, i would say it isn't very high on the list of priorities here and that is unfortunate .
The beverage. The beverage was 3/4 of the way full. I suspect the delivery driver may have been asked to fill it bc that was absurd. There
it was delivery. I threw the beverage away and will be contacting Uber for a refund. No thank you on the 4 ounces of soda that someone else may or may not have drank some of. Next time, seal the drink so customers are comfortable.
The food. The biscuits and gravy, while not well plated or visually appealing were PHENOMENAL.. absolutely delicious. The sunny side up eggs and toast were good, the bacon I'm not sure is real bacon. It’s more along the ihop quality lines but it was edible. The hash browns were horrid. No salt or seasoning and no ketchup was included to make them palatable. Just awful. I trashed them. The syrup is not real syrup, its corn syrup but most places serve this so it’s exe. The french toast would have been much better had my instructions been followed and requests honored but it was sufficient for $9.
All and all, i spent over $50 and I'm still a bit hungry. I ordered two entrees and a side. I’m also a smaller person who doesn’t need a-lot of food to get full so the “generous portion” thing is baffling. If you dine in, I’m sure this place will be sufficient and a good value relative to their prices but it’s not worth the added expense of delivery. You will also want to be their in person to ensure your order is prepared to your specifications and you are not missing any common sense items such as condiments or utensils

This little cafe is just wonderful and old school! Lisa, the waitress is kind, happy and just a hoot! She makes you feel right at home and like she’s known you for years. My Dad and I have enjoyed going here for breakfast together and plan to be back many more times. The food is fast, inexpensive and delicious!
