We enjoyed everything.... besides the food. I have been doubled over in stomach cramps for the past hour. I read reviews before coming here, so I have to think we just came on an "off" day. The portions were very nice & the food was priced accordingly. The staff were wonderful, humble and kind.

We are on a trip to Miami and hungry. Pull up BBQ and we’re excited to see this close and on the way. The waitress was kind and responsive, the food came quick. Too quick. How can it come too quick? When you order food at a restaurant especially a sit down restaurant, you expect a wait for prep and even fresh food. I had the chicken with a side salad and corn bread. We ordered corn fritters and fried pickles. My kids all had the kids ribs and Mac and cheese. My wife had the pulled pork with Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese is stoufers Mac and cheese. I have 4 kids I know what it was. The chicken was not smoked as the menu stated it was grilled and then sauced and charred. Pork sandwich was dry had it not been for the sauce. The kids ribs were dry. The fried pickles are not made there they are fried there but are frozen, easily known because of the texture. The corn fritters are hush puppies with corn in them, while tasty they are very heavy and clunky. The waitress again was kind a courteous and did a great job. The food is disappointing and falls flat. Without some major changes this place will not stay open very long. Small changes in prep and care could transform this place. Btw, 4 kids meals 6 drinks, corn fritters, chicken special and a pork sandwich, $101…I would not bat an eye at this if the quality of the food was better, no one ate their food and we left with no to go plates.

So we’ve tried this place a few times and it’s simply not good. Maybe I’m a little prejudice being from Memphis, TN but this is not good barbecue. It’s not seasoned well, nor tender enough. Their sauce choices are not adequate either. The only saving grace is the service which is polite and attentive. Would seek decent barbecue elsewhere.

Had 2 takeout orders of beef brisket and it was the worst brisket I have ever had anywhere. Fatty had to cut both orders with a knife and you should never need a knife with good brisket. Fries cold and soggy and I live 5 minutes from the Jupiter restaurant. The sauce was terrible and will never go to this restaurant again.

My family has been a long time fan of Park Ave BBQ since the beginning when Dean took over the KFC on Park Ave in Lake Park. We went to the restaurant on West Indiantown rd last week and had the worst service & food we have ever had. First it wasn’t really that busy but our waiter seemed like he needed to talk to everyone but us. He had our drink order but was two tables away and didn’t bring them for at least 5 minutes or so. He took another 5 to 10 minutes before he came back to take our food order. Both my wife and I ordered the half- rack baby back ribs with sides. Hers was coleslaw and mine were French fries & Mac & cheese. I’ve always enjoyed the ribs until this time, dry and not tasty. I didn’t complain, because I believe it would have fallen on deaf ears. It was kinda of funny watching people come in and wait to be seated because nobody was paying attention to the front door, I think the longest was about 5 minutes or so. The only two things that tasted good was the coleslaw & French-fries. We will not be going back to the Park Ave bbq on Indiantown rd any time soon. Sorry Dean I think this restaurant has fallen and needs to wake up and pay attention to its customers.

Came to celebrate my birthday and to try ribs for the first time in over 10 years!! Our server Shelby was the absolute BEST and the ribs were amazing! I didn't think I was going to enjoy them that much. Highly recommend! And, if you can, ask for Shelby! ?

Had a wonderful birthday lunch with my dad and my husband. Our server went above and beyond to make sure our time was perfect. I had the half a BBQ chicken and it was amazing! They have perfected the art of charring the skin, absolutely can not wait to go back!
