I am in total shock! My husband and I loved this place. For us, the service was always great and so was the food. Things did drop off somewhat once we entered the pandemic, but we still loved it. We would dine in a few times and order take out other times. Before I retired, my students introduced me to this restaurant and I'm glad they did. What in the world happened? On Sept. 4 we went online to check the menu and I saw "Permanently Closed." I had not heard a thing. My husband and I will miss the Carne Asada Bowls. Why did it close? I'm disappointed.

What a shame!! I have a $50 gift certificate that was purchased on 6/19/2021 and is only good at the Jupiter location. I just called the Tequesta location and they told me it's not good there and the Jupiter location has closed down. I am certain they sold this gift certificate knowing full well that they were shutting down in a last minute money grab and screwing. I am very disappointed that other locations won't honor the gift certificate. It would certainly be a positive business move to get me to come back to the Tequesta location. Oh well what a shame to lose a customer.

Absolutely love the Carne Asada Bowl. Chips and Salsa were maybe the best I've had. Margaritas were great too. I was shocked to see someone painting over where their sign used to be tonight. Looks like they closed down but their website says they are opening another place late 2021 or early 2022. Other end of the parking lot? The address is listed as 6390 W Indiantown Rd #16A, Jupiter, FL 33458.

Horrible customer service. The worst I’ve experienced. They were not busy whatsoever. Took us 10 minutes to receive our drinks, we had to ask for our menus as we never got them. Took about 10-15 min to come and take our order, I had asked the server (don’t know her name due to not presenting herself) if the enchiladas were red or green and she replied “I don’t know” shrugging her shoulders. Asked her how many come in the order she also replied “I don’t know” I had pointed out to her after I saw on the menu they come with 3, waited for about an hour to get our food and I asked her if it’ll be out anytime soon she replied “no we our busy” 30 seconds after our food arrives and when I got my plate I literally received one dry a** enchilada. And the plate was obviously under the lamp for a while cause 1 the food was dry and 2 the plate was very hot. Asked for pineapple water, due to not having horchata when she said “i don’t know if we have any let me check” so she brings out my pineapple water and it’s literally pineapple juice. I had asked if she was a new employee and she replied “ no im just helping the servers” which we had assumed she was our server due to no ones else attending us or even presenting themselves. I’ve been here several times but will now stick to the one in tequesta or better yet visit el fogoncito or guacamole which is actually authentic Mexican food. Horrible service that I had to create an account to write this review.

Horrible waitress with a bad attitude. The other lady who was cleaning the tables was doing better service for our table then she was. The waitress kept forgetting things that we asked very nicely to get and when we talked to the manager they called my sister the B word in Spanish thinking we were clueless and didn’t know what the meant. We were very nice and used manners the entire time and she was extremely rude.

I have visited this restaurant several times and all has been good. On this day, there was much to be desired. We had one of the worst servers that I have ever encountered in a service industry. I will not disclose her name due saving some of her dignity. The service was soo bad, we spoke to the manager in which he called my daughter a bad name in Spanish. Little did he know, we know Spanish. Imagine that! We will never visit that organization again due to the attitude of the server and the professionalism of the manager. He even went on to tell us that the waitress is being rude because they are closing their doors in a week and it’s hitting his staff hard. If that’s the case, stop serving customers now!!! You are setting a bad reputation for this restaurant.

I've come to Rancho Chico a few times since moving to Jupiter two years ago. I went again today. It's the first time I've been there for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised at the portion sizes. The food has always been good when I go here, and the portions were huge. Today was the same as always, which is to say pleasant, but not excellent. The decor could use a little sprucing up. The carpet could use either a solid cleaning or replacement. Our table had a cracked top. Along the wall adjacent to the kitchen, the bottom of the wall is particle board; the cover has been removed for some reason. The ceiling tiles have some years on them. The bathroom (men's) had some paper towels and some toilet paper on the floor. However, the style is wonderful, and the music sets up a nice atmosphere. The chips and salsa are delicious. My wife isn''t a fan of cilantro, but I am. The salsa has a sharp, delicious flavor to it without being overly spicy. I had the super burrito. My wife had the Rancho Chimichanga. Our daughter had the fajita bowl. The burrito and the chimichanga were standard Mexican fare. The food was hot, fresh, and did not disappoint. It wasn't anything to shout to the heavens about, either. Our daughter's fajita bowl was a completely different thing. The steak had a delicious flavor; there were HUGE pieces of avocado in it, and the portion was very large. Next time, I'm getting that dish. If I was to travel a longer distance, I'd go to Rosalita's in Lantana, but being in north county now, Rancho Chico is the best Mexican food around.

I've been here a few times, so to it! Service is quick, the quantity is more than enough (and I can eat), the prices are affordable, good variety. The guac is good depending on which server makes it.. sometimes it's great and others not so much.. but when it's good, it's good! TIPS: If burritos are your thing, try the Carne Asada burrito.. the best one they have. If a taco is what you're after, the Queso Tacos are the way to go. If you're going for the margaritas, then invite me haha!
