Staff is great . Food is great . Can’t ask for much more then that. We always go with a large crowd and they have no problem handling us. That makes it a great place for birthday dinners .

We loves Sala Thai! Thai food is my favorite type of food and pad Thai is my favorite entree. Sala Thai has the best pad Thai in the area! I also had a side salad with the peanut dressing and the peanut dressing was phenomenal as well! My wife got chicken fried rice which was also very good. The one thing to know is to make sure you get the right spice level. I got two stars out of five and it was fairly spicy for me and my wife got two and a half stars and it was very spicy as well. But the flavor of everything was great and will continue to come back here whenever I want Thai food.

We absolutely love Sala Thai. Today was our last visit because we are moving to Indy. We know the owner and they have always treated us so well. And best Pad Thai ever! Great wait staff.
As always with a Thai restaurant that I try for the first time, I order pad thai (not spicy) spring rolls, and winter rolls because that is typically a good indicator of what to expect. The spring rolls were fine, but the winter rolls were bland and I felt I needed to use the dipping sauce for each bite (typically not the case for me). The pad thai, however, was very disappointing. There was supposed to be chicken and shrimp in it, but there was not one shrimp in the entire dish and there was very little chicken. It was also very bland, which was the biggest disappointment. Not spicy should not mean no flavor. They get two stars because the food was hot, packaged with consideration (a hole in the container for the spring rolls prevented loss in crispness due to steaming in the container, for example), and ready a few minutes earlier than expected. I may try them again one day and order moderately spicy to see if that helps.
