First time I ordered my pizza was mas not cooked through, shredded cheese fell right out from under the top melted layer. Gave it a second try thinking it was a 1 off situation.. and this is what I paid for.

First time here today, the girl was very nice but she was basically doing everything on her own except for the cooking of course. That place is very understaffed, I felt bad for her. She and another guy was trying also. The mozzarella stix were cold, the pizza was tasty but took practically almost an hour to get to our table. I don't know if employees called out but that place needs more staff..

Ordered from here while enjoying a beer at Civil Society and had them deliver a cheese pizza to the brewery. This is a really good pizza! The crust is perfect, the sauce was sweet and tangy, and the pizza was cooked perfectly! The only thing I didn’t like is that they cut the pie in squares. Outside of that, this is one of the better pizzas in South Florida! Will definitely order pizza from here again! Next time you’re in the Abacoa area, be sure and order some delicious pizza from this place!

Decent pizza! The in-laws got a deep dish pizza that served 3 with an extra piece to take home. Make sure you order the deep dish as soon as you sit down as it takes 45 min or more to come out. I had some of the sausage and veggie pizza, both of which were great. We sat outside and got to listen to the jazz band playing next door - it was fairly loud so we had to shout a bit but the music was supper enjoyable. Not many people at the restaurant when we were there. Fast great service!

My wife took me to this place many years ago when it was Costello. We loved the place and visited frequently. We moved back to the area now with our two young sons. My older son declared it was his favorite restaurant and demanded us going at least once a week. We love being able to walk here instead of having to drive. Then owner ship changed to tavern pii. We liked the new design and our favorite waitress was also still here. We liked the fresh approach to the menu and the house made pasta. Everything tasted fresh and we were sold.Unfortunately things went down hill from there. The fresh items and our new favorite pizza vanished from the menu. Our favorite waitress vanished too. Things are constantly out of stock. The last two times we went the experience was just painful. Long wait times, a feeling of disorganization. With young kids I decided to go early. We got there around 5.30. I was told wait times would be longer as they were busy. Being busy consisted of a 8 top and two 3 tops, one of the 3 tops being us. I placed our order and requested for garlic rolls to keep the kids over until the food arrived. We then watched as the 8 top, which had been sitting the longest, received their food over a 15 minute period. Upsetting as it appeared they were celebrating something. The other 3 top got part of their order, which was incorrect. The second part took quite a while longer . I was therefore not surprised that our garlic roles never made it. Not surprised but sitting with two kids in tears as they were hungry. I had ordered a beer and was offered a 2nd which I gladly accepted. Unfortunately it took another 10 minutes to come out. Here is the issue. The restaurant had at that time 14 guest at tables. More walked in as our dinner proceeded. But you can’t be overwhelmed with 14 orders. We were at Sals the other night and they had about 50 guests at tables and another 10 waiting for pick up. The food was flying out of the kitchen. The 8 top got their bills and they were wrong. Our food finally arrived and I was told the garlic roles would be out shortly. That was missing the point…To be fair, the wait staff was very apologetic and made the 2nd beer complimentary. They made also adjustments to the other tables. They a friendly and likable. The pizza was good. They are simply disorganized. If you know it takes a bit for the food to come out make sure your guests have something to snack on. If it is slow, there is no excuse for orders to come out incorrectly. I really hope something changes, we want to continue to come here. As it stands now, we wont

Unfortunately, this place is very inconsistent. When the ensalada pizza is made correctly, it is AMAZING. But I have ordered this 3 times for delivery and 2/3 times, it has had all the wrong ingredients and definitely was not worth the money. There was pickled cauliflower, olives and carrots and even a chunk of salami was mixed in...very disappointed.

It's a FRAUD. totally misrepresented on their menu.For $30 all I got was poorly made tasteless thick-dough standard pizza with bits of sausage over the greasest cheese I've ever seen.These people are clueless. Just had awesome New York Hand Tossed pizza! The salad was great! Service with a smile! I was told the pasta is homemade, so I’m gonna have that next time, Oh, and there will be a next time!

Tavern Pi is simply amazing! I wrote to them in early December, asking about a large party for my daughter's 13th birthday, just 3 days before Christmas. They were so friendly and accommodating every step of the way! On the evening of the party, they had a huge table set up for all the kids inside, and another huge table set up for all the adults outside. They timed all the food so that the kids had appetizers as soon as they sat down, and pizza shortly after. They allowed us to bring in our own cake, and stored it in the back until it was time, at which point plates, forks, and a cutting knife magically appeared.The chef and our 3 servers were so awesome and friendly. Even with our rowdy group and other outside tables to serve (no one wanted to be inside with the tweens! LOL!), and separate checks for our own adult table, they always had smiles on their faces and were eager to help with whatever we needed.The food was all hot and delicious, drinks were great, and our daughter said it was the best birthday party she's had to date!Thank you, Tavern Pi, for making our daughter's 13th a fun and memorable one! We'll see you again soon!

We visited last evening Dec. 3 2022. This was a busy evening and the entire staff was obviously a bit stressed. The service was some of the worst. Drinks came out after 45 minutes. The food came out after another 45 minutes with no explanation as to the delay. No one ever ck'd to make sure things were ok. Our waitress seemed to be hiding. Your staff was pathetic and so absent. There were 4 people in our party. Some of our food was hot some cold. There was an article left behind by one person in our party . This service was not isolated to just our table. Others too were experiencing similar issues. We were told to return at 11 on Sat. to pick it up. Another person was also told to pick up their debit card that was left behind at 11. When we arrived no one was there. We waited until 11:45 for someone to open. All of the other cafes were open and clean and ready for customers except YOUR place. The sidewalk around it, the tables etc. were dirty with straw wrappers and paper everywhere. A sore spot among the other places near by. We retrieved the item but we would NEVER EVER recommend this place to anyone.
Great pizza, great gluten free pizza, and although I believe he’s usually a manager, we were served by Nick and he was outstanding. Definitely recommend giving Tavern Pi a shot if you’re in the area.

Got the deep dish cheese pizza. It was burnt and not like the deep dish I have had in Chicago. All bread, little sauce, and not filled with cheese. Take a pass!

So, we have been there four times now. I gave them two stars because their pizza is good. The serving staff seems very distracted. One of the male serving staff had his girlfriend in two of the times we have been there. She has a foul mouth, I’ve had my young daughters look at me multiple times when this woman use the F word out loud while sitting at the bar. This could actually be a good eating establishment, based on the food they serve, if the owner knew how to hire the proper wait staff. Unfortunately, in Palm Beach County if you do not deliver on every part of the restaurant service, you will fail as a business. I am not sure the owner understands this.

Nice, simple Italian restaurant. Deep dish pizza was excellent. Didn’t try anything else, but prices seemed ok, waitstaff were friendly, and restaurant was clean and recently renovated.
