The Twisted Tuna - Jupiter FL

I have enjoyed Twisted Tuna and always recommend it as my favorite restaurant in Jupiter when people ask. Our server and her trainee were very attentive and wonderful . However last night, I was with my mother & a friend it was my least favorite dinner. I was going to get the Grouper Oscar, which I love, but our friend said he was going to get the Sushi Grade Tuna dinner, so I changed my mind. When our food arrived, his tuna was properly cooked, vibrant red as it should be. Mine was way overdone & gray all the way through to a medium well. I pointed it out to my mother & friend, but didn't say anything to the server, because our friend gets embarrassed easily, and was paying , & my mom gets a upset. They are both in their eighties. I've worked in kitchens and restaurants a good part of my life & tuna is probably my favorite foods. II would have sent it back. I will still recommend Twisted Tuna, but I felt Twisted with my Tuna.

Ordered a Mahi Mahi sandwich which generally at most restaurants is meaty and distinctive. Twist Tuna's was very salty, thin and flattened as though it was put through a press. Served on a slider roll, I guess so to make it seem the slice of fish was large.

I was at Twisted Tuna for a business holiday party. The appetizers were excellent, as was dinner. We were in a private room that made it great for networking and enjoying the company of other business associates. The servers were very attentive and happy to help with any requests. The bartender was personable and had a good sense of humor. I'm looking forward to going again on my own.

This was our first time dining at Twisted Tuna. The menu is extensive and cocktails were well poured. My husband had the Mahi and I had the Sunset Salmon. The fish was cooked to perfection. Our server Dakota was friendly & attentive and offered many suggestions. She checked in with us frequently. You will not be disappointed.

Nothing special, very overpriced, lacks personality. Service was very poor. Unfortunately this place is lacking everything necessary for a good quality dining experience. It's a shame as the location could be a real goldmine, and great place to visit...however as it is currently, it's not. With all the fantastic restaurants nearby, I would not return to this one unless there was dramatic changes.
