Toro Mambo Cocina Mexicana

Toro Mambo is my go to for Mexican food and delicious cocktails usually sit at the bar—always a 5-star experience. The food is consistently delicious, the drinks are well made, and the service is friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere overall. Only note: the floor near the bathrooms can be slippery, so just be careful.

My family flew in on Tuesday February 17th and I was really impressed with the food at this restaurant and have been here several times. But this night for some reason the waitress told us we couldn't do Taco Tuesday menu because our party was too large 7 PEOPLE.....REALLY. Food was awesome as always but I was a bit embarrassed for my family that arrived that day and told them this has never happened before. Looked on the menu and online and didn't see any restrictions. LAST TIME HERE. BUY BEWARE...😡

We absolutely loved this place. The table-side guacamole was to die for and both of our meals were incredible. The service was amazing (Marvin) and our food came out so fast and nice and hot. The salsa was so good and they kept bringing more without us even having to ask. Everyone there was super friendly and we were seated right away with no wait. It’s officially my husband’s new favorite restaurant in town!!

Ok, if you are a carb watcher, feel free to take off the obvious. However, if you can just go, on a Tuesday for $4.00 Tacos and $7-$10 drinks + OMGosh Bean dip, you will thank me! 😊 Angel, walked us through our choices and quickly facilitated our needs. Mostly more delicious drinks to wash down my new favorites! Great Job, Angel! 👍

One of the overall best Mexican meals I’ve ever had! And I’ve been to Mexico often! Quality ingredients, fresh, authentic and great cocktails to boot! Soooo going back often! 😍❤️😍

They have all day happy hour on Mondays creative & tasty cocktails and delicious food (birra tacos) Sat at the bar and watched Olympics. The other patrons and staff were friendly. Highly recommend

Well..where do I start? Hmm….aside the fact it took 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us at the table. I could tell just by the atmosphere that everything was not organized. The server was super overwhelmed, and I could hear other tables complaining about the time that it was taken for their food to arrive.
The table directly behind myself, and my husband, which was a four top of elderly people complained that their food was taking way too long….mind you, they arrived 15 mins AFTER us. To my surprise, not even five minutes after complaining, their food came rushing out. I told my husband this is totally ridiculous and I’m about to walk out. We’ve been waiting an hour.
I immediately called the manager over, which seemed very uneducated about the restaurant business and how things should be running. My husband and I are in the restaurant business and understand how things work but this man was very lost on how to deal with us on a professional level to fix the problem. Not long after that, our fajitas for two came out steaming, so we were super excited until we realized that all of our shrimp and steak were totally seared burnt from the temperature of the hot plate which was way past the temperature that it should have been. I’m guessing the only way to get your food rushed out to you is to complain and even then it doesn’t come out good.
I encourage the owners of this place to took a close look at how this place is being ran. We will never be back nor share with our friends.

Had a very good dinner, lamb chops appetizer comes with a salad, enough for one person. My husband had the mole chicken cazuelita, very tasty and big portion. Esther was a great server.
