The only problem I had about last night was that it was so windy and chilly that they should've put down the windshield earlier. When I asked All they did was shut the fans off, but other people were cold also.
Our waitress Jenny (or Jenna) was FANTASTIC!! Even if the food and ambience is good, service can make or break a dining experience and she definitely added to ours. She was also very kind with requesting that a paddle fan that was on full speed and really blasting us be turned off and took care of it very quickly. The food was excellent, the view can't be beat. Our only complaint was the music was WAY too loud, which made it very difficult to have a conversation. Background...
I think U-Tiki is so popular because of its location and vibe, both very fun. However, the food and service are average. We heard there was a 90-minute wait without reservations on the night we went, so they must be doing something right, but that wasn't our experience. Fish was dry, and the smoked fish dip tasted like liquid smoke had been stirred into it. The waiter seemed distracted and in a hurry, and we had to ask more than once for a couple missing items.
