Great spot friendly service full. Ar a good tables for players.

This place is my second home! It’s always packed and full of laughter. There’s currently a tournament happening right now but it’s pretty confined to a couple tables. Lots of regulars and a couple new people here and there but always a good time. Staff are always wonderful and attentive. I bring friends and even my family here because it’s perfect for a night of fun! But be warned!!! This place gets PACKED so show up early or miss out on a table!

I’ve been to Sharp Shooters multiple times over the years, but on Saturday, December 13, 2025, around 9:00 PM, I had easily the worst experience I’ve ever had at any billiards hall in Miami.

Within less than a minute of walking in, I politely asked the bartender whether there was a tournament happening, since there was a crowd watching what appeared to be a live or recorded match. Instead of answering like a professional—or even like a normal human being—he immediately responded by cursing at me and acting aggressively.

There was zero provocation. No attitude on my end. Just a basic question.

Whether this person is the owner or just a bartender doesn’t really matter. What does matter is that reviews going back nearly a decade mention the same tall bartender being hostile, rude, and confrontational, and nothing has clearly been done about it. That tells me this behavior is either tolerated or endorsed by management.

A business that allows staff to verbally abuse customers within seconds of walking in doesn’t deserve repeat business. Miami has plenty of billiards spots—this isn’t one worth supporting.

If you’re looking for a place to enjoy pool, relax, or bring friends, this is not it. The environment is unnecessarily hostile, and the staff seems more interested in picking fights than providing even the most basic level of customer service.

I won’t be returning, and I strongly suggest others think twice before coming here.

The place is fun if you like to shoot pool. They just got new felt on the tables recently. They have food you can order. There is a Touch Tones machines so you can play your own music, have a few beers and shoot some pool.

Clean and safe place to play pool with family and friends

A fun spot to play some pool/billiards. It’s upstairs though and I’m not sure if it has a way to get there wheelchair accessibly!

Our cruise ship has just docked in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and I'm excited to share that I had an amazing time playing pool at Sharp Shooters Billiards in South Miami. The owner, Joe Penna, was a fantastic opponent in our games of One Pocket. This venue is a hidden gem, with over 14 top-notch Brunswick Crown One Billiard tables. The front three tables have uniquely tight pockets, measuring 4.25”, with lengthened rails for an added challenge. Plus, their full bar offers a wide range of drinks and food.

Never takes long to get a pool table and has a great dive bar with prices that you cannot complain about. Really chill place to come and get a few drinks while playing pool.
