You are paying for the atmosphere and that’s it. We had a grilled chicken Cesar that literally had Romain, croutons and a small chicken breast. Yes it overloooks the water but I would not pay for much else here. The salad was embarrassing. The service was ok but slow.

Great place for fish and seafood dishes. Chicken was rubbery.

Your basically just paying for the atmosphere. I ordered a burger ($15) which tasted like the burgers in a school cafeteria, and they charged $10 for bottle of budweiser. I'm not coming back

Never expected to pay $32 for carbonara that comes out with ham chunks rather than bacon. The palomilla steak was decent but easily the thinnest I’ve ever seen, akin to four stacked pieces of paper.

Beautiful view, but the food and service don’t match the setting. Walk-in only, very hot day, no indoor seating. Service was poor—staff seemed disengaged, never checked on us, and I had to get my own water they had no smiles and looked like forced to be there. Fish was fresh but overcooked and under-seasoned, tostones too thick and over fried, yuca fries bland, ceviche lacked flavor. Presidente beer was served warm.

Go for the view, not the food or service. Sadly, when food is prepared and served without care, even the most beautiful view can lose its charm.

Very nice place with scenic views. Their food is also good specially the whole Red Snapper fish and their french fries. We also ordered chicken fired fingers, that was awesome.

The view here is what makes it worth while. Dani our server, was very sweet and attentive. However the food was subpar to say the least. The most pale and unfavorable salmon I've had. And unfortunately it cost 32 dollars with only 1 side. I was really disappointed.

My husband and I had the best time here today! We rented bikes from the Bill Bagg's Park and rode the 8 min to the restaurant. It was a pleasant bike trail and absolutely beautiful! We rolled up on Boater's Grill. It's a beautiful atmosphere nestled in a quaint harbor. Absolutely gorgeous view. We visited on a Thursday at 1145. They have a bar with numerous cocktail options, but the bar doesn't open till 1230. The service was great and the food was great too! We had no complaints. We had so much fun!

To start, the place is nice; the view is beautiful. I’ve been here before more than 5 times. The service is usually good; the servers check up on you. They make sure the food and drinks are fine, but today was another story. I went, and the server that attended me seemed like she didn’t even want to help. Not once did she check to see if our food was okay or if we wanted another drink or offered dessert. The table was barely cleaner when the old drinks or food plates were finished. I’m not even sure I’d come again after today.

My wife and I dined in a party of four and really enjoyed the food and service. The atmosphere in the evening is exceptional.
As guests of a private party on a separate occasion, the food was average. The food in a group setting was cold and nowhere near the quality of when personal dining.

We recently had dinner at Boater’s Grill with a group of six and spent around $430. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable. The service was attentive and friendly, and the waterfront view was absolutely stunning — a perfect setting for a relaxed evening.
The food was generally good and portions were generous. However, the lobster was a major letdown. On a scale of 0 to 10, it was a 0 — it tasted as if it had been sitting in the fridge too long and lacked freshness entirely. That aside, the rest of the dishes were well-prepared and satisfying.
Boater’s Grill is definitely worth visiting for the ambiance and overall experience, but I’d recommend skipping the lobster.
