We ate the truffle guacamole and the lettuce wraps from the appetizers menu, absolutely delicious! “Easily the worst restaurant I’ve been to. Drinks were $32 but mostly ice, we had to request service in an empty restaurant, and there were folks allowed to peruse the restaurant for opportunities. We finally requested appetizers only to learn they weren’t available after a burger and chicken sandwich was delivered. They mentioned they provided a discount for inconvenience, but it was simply waiving the fee for the item that never showed. The 4.9 listing was solely because they only had 40 visitors. Don’t come here. Go to the speakeasy downstairs“

“Was staying in the hotel upstairs and while the hotel was not great, I was pleasantly surprised by the Biscayne Tavern. On night one I stopped in for drinks and was served by Maylin, who was an absolute delight and gave top tier friendly service. I decided to go back for dinner the next night and was served by Tomas. Another amazing night of service, plus the good is very, very good! I had one of the best Cuban sandwiches of my life (I used to live in Miami, I've had many) and I highly recommend the nachos, which are Cuban/Miami style and have plantain chips in place of tortillas. Give Biscayne Tavern a shot, it's low key in the best way and please give Maylin and Tomas all your love, they deserve it!“

Unfortunately our server was inattentive, didn't refill our waters and seemed to rush us towards the end by trying to take our plates while we were still eating. Also we couldn't reserve a table in the back patio which I heard has a much nicer ambience.“
