Open Seas Paellas Españolas

Everything was fine for it being Oceanside. We called twice to let them know that we were running late and to ask them for directions on how to get there because it is a little tricky and the staff was a little rude. The food was fine, but nothing to write home about.

We loved our experience. The food was phenomenal and I tried an authentic Spaniard drink which was also refreshing and delicious. Pablo was very attentive and ensured that we had a great experience. He he even gave us some tips for our upcoming trip to Spain. My one and only feed back is that to consider expanding the kitchen setup to acculturation high demand. Overall everyone around us seemed very pleased with their meals. I also loved that it was very family friendly environment. We are excited to return and try all the other items on the menu.

I came to Key Biscayne to eat paella on the beach on the weekend. I ordered the ink flavor and chicken seafood flavor. You can eat authentic Spanish seafood risotto in Miami without going to Spain. Recommended! The boss is very enthusiastic! I also recommend their croquettes, and ordered the fish and cheese and ham flavors! 😋

We called before going to ask if they had space for 2 people, they said yes, so we drove 45 minutes.
Wen we arrived they lady told us that we cannot buy 2 paellas (one for each) it had to be a minimum of FOUR paellas.. otherwise she can’t take our order. She said that if we waited 1 hour and 30 minutes she can do paella for 2……
Very disappointed because they could have told us this through the phone, also I don’t think is fair that if we are 2 people we have to buy 4 paellas.. and I’m not even talking about how the lady was speaking to us.
we also paid $11 parking for nothing.

Something I’ll like to add, based on the price they offer the atmosphere and “decor” didn’t look to its level.

Instead we came to KEBO in key biscayne as well, they received us with a table ready, incredibly nice service, for the same price.

If you want to enjoy Exquisite Real Spanish Cuisine, and I know about fine Spanish Cuisine and Fine Ribera Del Duero wines, you must go to this place BUT beware, this is a "Beach" environment; remember you are at the Beach at Grandom Park, in Key Biscayne, so it is an amazing Gastronomical experience at the Beach. It closes when the Park closes which is at Sundown so plan for Lunch or early Dinner.
