This bakery has become very popular, and while the desserts are not bad at all, the prices feel excessively high. The key lime pie is truly delicious and definitely the standout, but overall the pricing seems hard to justify. Anyone with even basic knowledge of this business understands the actual cost behind these products, so the markup feels unnecessary. It’s a nice place to try once, especially for the key lime pie, but the value doesn’t quite match the hype.

I am extremely disappointed, frustrated, and upset with Pionomus in Key Biscayne. I have been a loyal customer for over seven years, and I never imagined experiencing something so disrespectful, careless, and unacceptable, especially right before Christmas.
I placed a prepaid order for a specific date. On Christmas Eve, I tried repeatedly to contact the store to confirm whether I could pick up my order the next day. I called multiple times and left over twenty messages, and no one ever responded. No calls back, no messages, absolutely zero communication. Complete disregard for the customer.
When I went to the store the following day to pick up what I had already paid for, I was casually informed that my cake had been sold to someone else and that there was nothing available to replace it. This is simply unacceptable. If an order is paid for, the store has no right to sell it, especially on a holiday as important as Christmas.
To make matters worse, the service was cold, unhelpful, and dismissive. The employee told me there was nothing he could do, as if the situation were not serious at all. No genuine apology, no accountability, no effort to fix the problem.
After being a loyal customer for so many years, leaving the store without my order, without answers, and without respect was incredibly frustrating. Pionomus showed a complete lack of organization, responsibility, and respect for its customers. This experience completely destroyed the trust I had built over the years. I do not recommend this place.

Service is horrible started off with trying to call them to let them know I am in the way NO ONE answered twice. I get there the place is full of workers I stood there a few minutes no one recognized me
To ask if I needed help- the lady behind me asked
One of the three girls behind the counter if they had individual pavlova that is when I flipped then asking the other employee can she help me and that I came to pickup my order. NOT GOING back again there are many places that make that dessert.
Very expensive. More name than quality.

I ordered one individual pavlova and one another coconut cake slice almost 40$. Is overpriced. Sorry I don't repeat it.
Thanks God we have Piononos!!! If you go there once you will be back every time!
The best pavlova that I ever try so far : two option with Nutella (very good) and my favorite with “Dulce the leche”!!
On top the service (All of them) are very kind and of you need to wait just few minutes they give you something (mini dessert) to try.
For the Owner: thank you again for the best Palvova that your staff made for my rehearsal dinner March 2019!

Hands down the best confectionery in Key Biscayne. The famous Pavlova is known even outside the borders…..due to its unique amazing beauty and taste. Highly recommend it.Just don’t forget to order way, way in advance. They sold out quickly.

I had a terrible experience ordering a birthday cake for my daughter’s 18th. The whole process was frustrating from start to finish. When placing the order, there was no way to specify the number for the cake, and despite emailing and calling multiple times, no one ever answered or responded. There was never any confirmation, and it felt impossible to reach a real person. The lack of communication and complete disregard for customer service made what should have been a special occasion incredibly stressful. I would not recommend this business to anyone. I canceled the order and now am having a hard time getting a refund for the $300 cake.

Ordered a pavlova for valentines. Was delighted they delivered straight to my home. The delivery person was kind and responsive. The pavlova was out of this world. Needy pavlova in Florida.
