I am not sure how this place gets good reviews. I had carnitas tacos and it tasted like boiled no flavor pork meat. I left almost all of the meat out. The tortillas were good ?.

very cute and quiet lunch spot featuring cheap refreshing drinks and homemade guacamole to pair with steak and chorizo tacos. Perfect mix before the beach! We stumbled upon it on Google Maps trying to find a quick bite to eat before hitting the beach!

This is the best Mexican restaurant in the state of Florida. Food is fresh, portions are perfect, and prices are reasonable. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the ambiance is relaxed and fun. I only eat here when craving Mexican cuisine.

All bad reviews have responses from the restaurant being defensive, denying their actions or outright being rude to people who leave an honest review instead of acknowledging a wrong and a promise to improve or amend.

We just had a birthday lunch at this place with me and my friends:My friend found a hair embedded in her steak tacos. My street corn obviously came from a can and didnt resemble anything of an elote. This establishment was severely understaffed and the waitress, who was working, clearly needed help.If I could give zero stars I would. I typically write positive reviews but this experience needed to be spoken into existence.

We order mixed fajitas, stake and burito. All portions was very small and overpriced, in fajitas was only few pieces of beef and almost raw veggy. In one of the dish we find long black hair. Unfortunately it was waist of money we stayed hungry and had to go to eat to another place. Waitress was very kind

NO GOOD. We’ve had a lot of Mexican/Latin food and this restaurant is not the best tasting or highest quality. We came here because of the previous reviews. (Those must have been placed by the owners.)We ordered 2 smoothies, 2 entrees and guacamole. The guacamole had more tomatoes and onions than avocado and was not fresh. It looked like it was made 1 or 2 days previously. (Looked like a green version of rocky road ice cream that was melting.) The chips for the guacamole were very thick and greasy, fried in oil that looked like it was rarely changed. At that point we asked to cancel the two entrees. (If they can’t make guacamole, then we didn’t want to try the other food.)So we asked to cancel the entrees before they were made. Some rude lady comes running out the restaurant and threatened to call the police. We said we would pay for the smoothies (which tasted like water mixed with some frozen concentrate.) and the guacamole.(Although we only tasted a little o each.)However, they continued to threaten calling the police, although we agreed to pay for the food we had been served - guacamole and smoothies. We finally agreed to pay for half the amount of of the total we had ordered- $35, although we had only one bite of the guacamole. We walked down the sidewalk and had a wonderful lunch at Narbona.I felt like I wasted $35. My husband said that at least we didn’t waste a vacation meal on terrible food.I don’t recommend this restaurant.
This is a hidden gem in Key Biscayne! We had the margaritas, street corn loaded nachos, tacos al pastor, fish tacos, and flan. All of them were extremely delicious and we would happily order them again. Our waiter was very kind and helpful. This place went above and beyond my exceptions, and I am excited to come back again!Dietary restrictions: I have Celiac’s Disease (cannot eat gluten) and was able to eat here with no problems!

I literally can’t describe the raw emotions felt during my experience at “Tacopolis”. Remember in the movie “Ratatouille”when that food critic took a bite of the food and it took him back to his childhood because it was that damn good? I took a bite of my food at “Tacopolis” and I saw Jesus Christ himself in heaven. A+++++.Fun fact: Jesus Christ served the flan from this place during the last supper because it was that great.

The food is whatever but the service is bad. They're weird, it's like a hassle for them to idk... do their job lol

Food was a bit disappointing. Guacamole was bland. Street corn was made with canned corn. Tacos with chorizo and steak were great. Sweet tea was $6 a glass, no refills. That was a frustrating surprise on the bill.
