Had to sadly send the corn beef hash back, it was super salty, and the eggs were mangled. I had the pancakes and they were doughy. It was sad. We have eaten there for years, but as it changes owners, the cost goes up, and the quality does not. We will give it 1 more try before the final farewell.
This is a wonderful treasure. The food was amazing. The grits had a corn flavor to them and were well seasoned adding a fresh taste. The biscut was suprisingly constructed with excellence. It had a smooth top, so I thought that it was going to be more like a roll. I was wrong it was like one of those cookies with a crust, but soft in the middle wothout being too soft and still like a biscut. I’m sorry I was not able to give you more details about the negative review. I would rather that you contact me in person which I’m glad you have. The experience we had with the food was legitimate and good, it was the service that was very lacking. It wasn’t a terribly busy Sunday afternoon, and we were there for the very first time.
