Some of the best oysters and steamed shrimp I’ve had. The garlic butter was amazing. Kids love their burgers and fish too. Friendly atmosphere and great service.

We have been wanting to try this for a while now since getting our new home in Hawthorne! We are so glad we did! Everything was amazing!
We had the Cajun peanuts, Cajun style charbroiled oysters, crab legs, and steamed shrimp. 5 stars on everything! Also sweet tea, perfect!
Service was great! Would highly recommend for anyone!
We didn’t bring our kiddos but they’ve got a playground outside. It’s also next to Caddyshack putt putt!

I dined in , order at counter food & drink . Ordered the drink special Margarita 5 bucks was delicious . Ordered dozen raw oysters had to finish shucking - as everyone was stuck to shell . They were very good , ordered another 6 and they were mostly warm and also had to shuck remainder of way , Not as good as the first dozen were ice cold . Sadly disappointed in that .. I would return if was in mood mess with finishing shucking or wanted a good margarita on a Tuesday… I did try to order a split basket of gator n grouper that was priced the same but wasn’t allowed , based on them pre weighing , even though they’re kept frozen before thawing each day . Didn’t try either because didn’t want whole order of either . I’d give em a 6 out of 10 based on cleanliness and no wait and first dozen were excellent minus the knife I needed to finish shucking them

Since the change from the Orange Blossom Cafe, we have not gone to the Florida Cracker Oyster Bar & Grill. So, today we decided to give it a try. What a total disappointment! We order our half and half tea and sweet tea, and here come the red solo cups. What the heck? Ok I shrug that off, order the “Cajun Peanut” yeah was a hard NO, more like eating rock salt. And I guess what irritated me more was, they are served in a drink cup, for $6.99! You can get better and more for cheaper at the local gas station! So I told the lady behind the bar, and she said she was letting the people in the back know. Which she did take off the bill. Unreal, ok moving on…. We don’t eat oysters, and not in the mood for shrimp. My boyfriend orders the “Bacon Cheeseburger” comes with tots, and I ordered the “Buffalo chicken sandwich”with tots. Ok so we wait. The lady behind the bar was very pleasant. Our order comes out, for the prices we had high expectations. Let’s start with the “Bacon Cheeseburger,” bacon flakes??? What? Little crushed pieces of bacon? And the burger, was it cooked in the microwave? It was a hard NO! Now the “Buffalo Chicken Sandwich” well, it was a paper thin breaded chicken patty dipped in hot sauce, with lettuce, tomato and onion, with tots. I couldn’t eat the sandwich, it was by no means tasty, the tots, they were ok. At this point we are ready to get out of there, our tab came to $39.58. I almost fell off the barstool, when I saw $3.95 for a red solo cups of tea! So needless to say, never again!!! And they do prime rib???? At the end of the day, it’s just another over priced bar, with crappy food. But, I’m sure the RV park like having a bar right out there gate.

If I could give them a zero, I would. This is the first time I walked into this restaurant with no one inside and the young girl behind counter was ruder than rude. No wonder it was dead, having rude workers on an early Friday evening. Advertised that this place is pet friendly, for outdoor seating, but there is no servers to take your order if you sit outside. How else are you supposed to order food?

Second visit. We went for the Prime Rib dinner which we were all looking forward to but unfortunately the prime rib did not meet our expectations. The meat was overdone and the au jus had little flavor other than tasting like beef bullion. The sad part is when our server asked us how we liked the food we told her but she did not offer to correct it. One other note. We decided to split the dinners between the couples and were given a paper hot dog type basket and plastic utensils for the second person. Not really prime rib worthy. A second server did give us real silverware when she saw that we had plastic. Our drinks-On a previous visit my sister-in-law and I had this excellent lemon lavender drink which we ordered again but it was not even close to the first. It really does depend on who is make ng the drink. On a positive note the tater tots and coleslaw were really good. We may return eventually but we won't be going back for that meal.

We droppedby the Florida Cracker for dinner on my brother's birthday and were pleasantly surprised by the change in atmosphere from the old Orange Blossom. The interior has more of a cool pub vibe as opposed to the lackluster cafe look of the old place. We ordered the burger with tater tots, charred oysters and steamed shrimp to share. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. We couldn't believe how good the food was compared to the old restaurant which we had tried a few times but were always underwhelmed. I also have to note that they have a variety of hot sauces which are fantastic. The Bloody Mary I ordered was very good also. I liked the addition of pickled okra. We will definitely be returning.

I would like to thank everyone working at this establishment last night. We had a not so pleasant experience when this placed first opened and had refused to go back. However, we want to support local, so we gave it a try one more time. We are so glad we did. The food was absolutely amazing, and the staff were the best. We will definitely be back.
