We stopped here on the tail end of our bike ride up to and through Gold Head state park. It is a great place to stop, right on the paved trail that leads to the park.The food was great!! 3 of us had the fish and chips. Good portion size on the fish, Mac n cheese & fries. Another in our group had a burger and said it was really good too. Sadly forgot to take a photo of the food, we were really hungry after our bike ride. Including a screen shot off our ride route in case somebody would like to check out the route. It was a great ride on the trail up to the park and out the back that looped back to the trail, about 20 miles. Not much traffic on the road part of the ride.

Good food. Our server Carrie was really friendly and cracked jokes with us. It was awesome. The order came out super fast. Plus it is reasonably priced.
Called ahead for pick up order. Staff on phone and in person were good. Food? Baby back ribs were dry. The greens, though favorfull, were mostly stalks. Mac & cheese tasted like boring cheese sauce poured over macaroni, not a good baked Mac & cheese. The baked potato was nice and flufyy and the coleslaw was good. Cornbread was very boring and didn't taste like Cornbread at all. We are newer locals and ery disappointed. We had previously been fr lunch and those sandwiches were good. Not excellent or special, just good. If you want good greens try Cedar River!! So far, Cedar River is the Bst and most consistently excellent local restaurant.

The burger is good and the fried pickles first time trying this place and the service through the drive through wasn’t the best probably won’t be back anytime soon we where supposed to get two ranches that came with the fries and pickles but ended up with only the two extra that we paid for just not the best impression maybe they where just having a bad day but idk

I’ve been here more than 10 times and I don’t review unless I’ve been to a place more that 4 times and it has to hit me perfect. I timed how fast I got my food today. From the time I closed the door to my car to the time I got my food, drink, and appetizer was less that 20 minutes for 3 people. This restaurant is role model for how a place thrives and keeps the doors opening for decades to come. From the friendly staff to the great food this BBQ joint gets a 5 star rating. Appreciate the full belly Johnnys.

I am a regular here locally. Absolutely love their food and the indoor staff, But I am so TIRED of having my receipt forced on me to sign for tips before I can even open my mouth to ask a question. I place online orders and there is NO option for adding extra sides of sauce, so I was trying to ask but I was rudely told to sign my recipt and the window was slammed shut until my food came out and it shut right after, not able to get a word in. Wow. I felt like a joke, your asking me to tip drive thru orders when the drive thru people are always so rude and tip forcey? I tip minimum 10 inside for my party of two I'm not tipping drive thru they're rude as hell. Kitchen staff never disappoints though food is 11/10. Please train your drive thru workers to be nice and actual serve the customers needs. I'm depressed I'm eating my meal with one less cup of sauce because I was not given the option to purchase another. :(

There were 7 of us and our waitress, I think Amanda was her name was awesome! She probably won't ever forget our group of Veterans, especially the blind guy. Everyone had something different and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals! We'll definitely recommend your place to our friends and family.
