Again stopped in the afternoon so it was slow, but the ribs are great. Wasn't to keen on the pulled pork but it was good. Baked beans were real good. They give rib city and sonny's a good run for there money.
Parking: They are just east of Popeyes in Labelle.

Stopped in for late lunch while passing through LaBelle. Not a fancy place. Not crowded. Fast service.
Ordered Pulled Pork. sandwich with Fries. Probably best BBQ in Florida.
Just stop in, you will not be disappointed!!

We needed a place to meet between Palm Beach and Fort Myers and there are not a lot of choices. We picked here to show my English visiting family a down home Florida eating place.
We were not disappointed. Of course, it is rustic and not large, but the food was great, the service was awesome, and the prices good.
I write very few reviews but if you are around Labelle, Florida, give this place a try.

The Log Cabin BBQ is an unsophisticated, hole-in-the-wall restaurant that specializes in full plates of regional, old-Florida style food and well-prepared barbecue that is authentic and unlike others you'll find elsewhere. If this sounds good to you, then it's well worth a stop.
The overall feel of the place might not be for everyone. It's got a rustic, well-worn sensibility that I'd describe as a cross between a roadhouse and an old fishcamp. The only adornments in the walls were a few Western-themed silhouettes and black-and-white photos of the community's heyday of nearly one hundred years ago. If I looked down at the floor, I might have expected it to be covered in peanut shells or sawdust, even though it wasn't.
It was unusually busy on my last visit. The main and side dining rooms were filled with what appeared to be a combination of locals and travelers - aging couples, groups of fisherman ending their day with a meal and young families escaping their home kitchen for supper out. With only one server working the entire place, a few guests seemed to agitated by minor delays or bothered by a few tables of families with young, boisterous children. Still, we were in no rush and our server was sweet as the day is long (and trying her best) so we were happy to be along for the noisy ride.
Overall, the food was very good, but seemed to suffer just a bit from the meal rush. The corn nuggets were surprisingly tasty for a start. They were like others I've had in the past, but something about them made them feel as if they were homemade. The sliced brisket special was a reasonable portion that was well balanced between being juicy and fatty. We also sampled a combo plate that featured two enormous, untrimmed spareribs, a smoked chicken leg quarter and a portion of exquisite, thinly-sliced pit smoked beef. The ribs were flavorful and really well prepared but benefited from a dose of their sweet BBQ sauce and the chicken, while adequate, was also cool to the touch. The sliced beef was the hottest and tastiest thing on my plate. I'd definitely return again for a sandwich which features a pile of this well prepared meaty treat! In general, all the various sides, from mac and cheese to the roasted sweet potatoes with butter and brown sugar, were satisfying in an honest, home style way. And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that the menu prices were very reasonable and affordable given the quality and quantity!
The place had slowed by the time we left and that meant that the server had more time to clear tables and tend to the guests who remained. We left with extra sweet tea to go and a big smile from the wonderful, overworked server.
Next time I'm in the area, I'll be sure to stop in again. Hopefully next time it won't seem so unexpectedly busy. 😉
Parking: Keep an eye out as it can be difficult to pull in off the main road when there is a lot of traffic.

Super friendly service. It was fast! They wernt too busy but i had my food before i finished my free cup of soup! Good country fried steak! The manager and staff there is really turning things around! The price was definitely affordable for what you get!
