Gary's Oyster Bar & Seafood House

This was an ok place but the food was extremely overpriced and not that good I couldn’t even eat the fish It tasted bad and shrimp were very small. Also my mother’s potato had a rotten spot in it.

For years this was a local staple, we live close by but have not been here in about four years. What an awful change to a once solid dinner option. The word must be out because when we arrived at 6:00 on a Friday night and the lot was less than half full which was a clue something was amiss when usually it would be packed. Food was for sure frozen Sysco food and for ridiculous prices. And we eat out on the regular at dives and high end establishments. Four adults and a child should not have been $179, wasn’t like we were tying one on with booze. We won’t be back and that’s sad.

Great atmosphere. The staff was wonderful. The oysters were delicious, and they shocked them right in front of you. The building was a little old but added to the atmosphere

We love this place. Well run family owned. Best oysters around. Once you eat oysters here, you compare to here when eating oysters anywhere else. Frogs legs yummy as is shrimp. We will be back!!! Oh and Carla was an awesome server.

Great quaint place. Nothing fancy just good food. Been going here since I was younger probably 40 years.

Best seafood in central florida. The staff is the best

I had blackened roast beef, fabulous! My husband got the raw oysters and a fried seafood platter. He devoured it. Great find for us!

Had a great time here on Saturday afternoon, 10/19/24. The greeting was prompt and very cordial. Hung out at the bar where I had some drinks and laughs with the other patrons. Hunter is the best. Service is great. Oysters were fresh! Highly recommended, I will return.

A very local place. Everyone is welcome, and you can have a $5 hot dog plate or a $25 stuffed flounder. Rum runner, pitcher of beer or tea to drink. Just a nice hole in the wall to enjoy yourself.
