Went in to do karaoke. Very small place with almost no seating. Asked if we could grab a table that had a fan in it and move the fan. Bartender said was ok. Some lady came up and chewed out my wife for moving the fan. Wife explained she had permission. Turns out the rude woman is the owner. Not a good way to treat customers. Paid for our drinks and left. Don't go out for fun to get barked at.

We didn't order food, the live band outside was really good that night. It was outside but thank God they had fans going to move the air, because there was a lot of people smoking
Inez the bartender is incredible. She made me feel welcome as a single woman walking in alone. The drink was first rate and the food was also. I will be back.

I stopped by LA’s Midway Saloon on Christmas Eve, needing a quick escape from the family chaos and a good, stiff drink—and let me tell you, mission accomplished! As soon as I walked in, I was drawn to the barn where karaoke was in full swing. The host was top-notch, creating an atmosphere that was both lively and welcoming.
I grabbed a whiskey from two of the nicest bartenders I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in a long time. Even though it was my first visit, the staff and regulars treated me like I’d been coming for years. Within minutes, I went from being in a sour mood to laughing my ass off and genuinely enjoying myself.
As someone who’s worked in the bar and restaurant industry as a manager, I was incredibly impressed with the service. The bartenders were attentive, kept my drinks topped off, and always had a smile on their faces—even as the night went on. I never felt rushed or out of place, which is rare, especially on a busy night.
This was my first visit, but it definitely won’t be my last. LA’s Midway Saloon knows how to deliver great drinks, great vibes, and unbeatable hospitality!
