Had iced coffee and toasted ham and cheese sandwich and it was so good. The pumpkin carrot cake was AMAZING!! was lucky to grab the last two. ☺️

We had a lovely time visiting here for cafe con Leche, and empanadas and tostadas on a Monday morning! This place is very cute!! Everything was absolutely delicious. Our service was prompt and friendly and Morena is a very lovely person herself.!! we will definitely be back!

From the delicious drinks to the tasty sandwiches and pastries to the welcoming owner who does it all, this is type of local gem that we NEED to support in our community.

Reasonably priced, delicious and welcoming, if you live or happen to be in and around Winter Haven and want a bite to eat or a place to chill for a minute, make sure to stop by and treat yourself to this local Cuban/Dominican cafe. You won't regret it!

Morena’s offers delicious food, baked goodies, and coffee beverages with love and the attention to detail that you’d expect from Michelin rated restaurants.
Her food is fresh, perfectly seasoned, and made with the best quality ingredients. Her baked items are always scrumptious, and her coffee items (like a caramel Frappuccino) are unmatched!
Her Cuban sandwiches are the best in Polk County. The chicken in red sauce and thin slices steak hot plates are among my favorite offerings.
Morena treats everyone like family and once you’re a customer, you’re part of her heart. You won’t find someone who is more passionate about taking care of people than Morena!

I've visited here twice, lunch and breakfast. I took my husband here for breakfast when I saw they had posted Mallorca bread, sandwiches from PR that was our favorite on our visit to PR. I had ham and swiss on mine and my husband added an egg. The sandwich was huge and so yummy. I had lunch with my stepdaughter here....we came for empanadas and ended up eating lunch and taking bags of empanadas and pastilltos home. Both times I visited, they checked on us and made sure everything was good and if we needed anything. Great customer service.
Such a cute little place, they've made the inside look cute. You do have to go outside around the block to use the restroom.

OMG! We have been looking for a cuban bakery for 2 years now since we moved up here and we have finally found one! Wow. Food was amazing, café con leche yummmm... empanadas.. loved it! Def going to be a regular customer. Wish I had pictured to show but we ate it all up too quickly.. next time 😜

Not only is Morena as sweet as they come, the restaurant is cute cozy and inviting. The food and deserts are phenomenal. I love empanadas so when I saw them on the menu I had to try. The beef empanada was excellent, possibly best I’ve had. The limoncello cake is also one of the Best I’ve ever had. I’ve bought two lemon cakes this week trying to find the perfect one and as they say the 3rd time is the charm. I highly recommend stopping in.

This place is a hidden gem! The owner is so sweet and always makes you feel like family. The service is beyond accommodating—every visit feels like coming home. Their sancocho is absolutely the best I’ve ever had—rich, flavorful, and comforting. And don’t even get me started on the chicken empanadas crispy and juicy, her guava and cheese pastelitos, cafecito! Also Best Catering ever for my Family get togethers, Morena has become a staple at my Holiday gatherings… everything she makes is made with love. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out

Drove 20 minutes for them to have no available food. Made cheese empanadas which were good but the only option. Couldn't make us coffee because they ran out of cups ?
Waste of time.
