We did not have a reservation but heard the outdoor and indoor bar are full service and open seating so we decided to give it a go. We came at dinner time, but a little later about 7:30 or 8:30pm ish. And there were open seats at the bar. Bar service was fine, we sat on the end so we were ignored a tiny bit. We ordered a refill moonshine (you can get a refillable squeeze bottle), and a wine. We ordered the church lady deviled eggs because we had heard they were good. We enjoyed them but we felt they didn’t live up to the hype, but we ate them all. We each ordered a chicken sandwich, one spicy and one not. And we got mac and cheese for a side. The chicken is perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, flavorful, and crispy. The mac and cheese is perfectly browned and super cheesy and flavorful, everything was a home run. We will definitely be back in the future. And be sure to check out the bar if you don’t have a reservation!
We had been here years ago and wanted to come back again! Our server was so outgoing and friendly, and she explained some of her favorites on the menu. We tried some moonshine as well as some sangria. We got the smothered chicken and boy was this more than enough to share! It came with sides and a huge piece of chicken. The chicken was so good, it was moist and tender and flavorful. It was even still amazing as leftovers the next day. We also got the chicken and dumpling soup which was basically deconstructed chicken pot pie. It was a large portion and was pretty good. We also got the regular and the hot chicken sandwich with mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was sooo good and the chicken sandwiches were eaten so fast because they were so good. This place is known for its fried chicken and it is easy to see why. We will definitely be coming back here again when time allows us, because everything was a home run from service to food to drinks.

I am not a resident of Florida but my family and I travel to Florida at least 2x a year and we ALWAYS visit Homecomin' when we're here. Even when I am unable to get a reservation online ahead of time I can do a walk-up and still get one within a reasonable time. I went this past Friday night and was told a 40 min wait but 20 min later I received the text that my table was ready (perfect!). The food and drinks, as always, were great and our server Tim started off with good service, but as the meal progressed it fell off. I'm not sure if he was overwhelmed but we weren't checked on after our meals came out and once we received our take-out boxes and paid the tab we were still waiting a bit longer for an additional box that we asked for prior to paying. Overall the food, drinks, and ambiance in general was great. Despite the not-so-great service that we've grown to expect (and usually always get) we had a great meal. Hopefully on our next visit it will be back to what we're used to!

We went last Friday night, being from the uk i had seen posts about the meals etc and was looking forward to going. However, received my starter only to find a black hair on it (none of our party has black hair). My starter was taken away, with an offer to replace i refused. So they bought out my main meal whilst the rest of the group was still eating their starters, which i was not impressed with. No other compensation was offered not even a drink. I would not recommend this restaurant.

We booked a coveted brunch reservation to celebrate my husband’s cancerversary. When we got there, we waited over half an hour to be seated. My husband started feeling unwell ans we waited over 20 minutes for our food and he and I decided to book it back to the resort for him to lie down. We left in a hurry, but our adult children stayed to explain our quick exit and find out if our order could be cancelled. They explained the situation to the waiter when he finally returned and were told no, as the order had already been placed. Fair enough. Our food arrived 10 minutes after we left and the place was hopping. Given how busy it was, and the circumstances, there’s really no good reason for them not to cancel two of the five meals placed. Bad form, Art Smiths.

We had high hopes for this spot given the hype, but unfortunately, the food didn’t quite deliver. The portion sizes are massive, so much so that it feels like more waste than value when the quality doesn’t match.
The cheddar biscuits were okay, but a little on the dry side (adding honey definitely helped). The fried chicken was smothered in way too much gravy, and the chicken itself was thick and noticeably under-seasoned. My boyfriend ordered their most popular dish, the chicken dinner, and it was the same story…bland across the board.
One thing we did appreciate was how quickly the food came out, but that actually made us realize it probably wasn’t cooked fresh. The decor is charming and fits the Southern comfort theme well, but sadly, the meals we had just didn’t live up to expectations.
We’d consider giving Homecoming another try down the line, just in case this was an off day…but for now, it feels more hype than flavor.

Food was delicious. Good amount of it for the price too. Service was quick and initially seemed like it was going to feel rushed with how busy it was on a Sunday, but our server Jake truly made our experience an awesome one. He also had great recommendations. No complaints!

We enjoyed our dinner, and the fresh donuts were delicious. We're satisfied with the food and would return. However, I found the mac and cheese a bit lacking in flavor, though it was still good overall.

The food was exceptional; had the meatloaf, green beans, and mashed potatoes. Also the deviled eggs were beyond delicious. Our server could not of been better - visited with us, was attentive to our needs, and very personable. The atmosphere was very nice and appropriate although a bit loud. As are all things Disney, not an economy restraunt, plan on $40+ per person at dinner.

My favorite place to eat in Disney Springs and the service was top notch. Our waiter went above and beyond to help us celebrate a birthday and told us about half plates!!

Our waiter Gary was nice! Very informative about the menu which was very nice. The appetizers were extremely good. I ordered Mahi Mahi and it was very bland. The sons cheeseburger was good he said. The macaroni and cheese was really good as well. It was VERY expensive though. Just my dinner and my son's dinner (he ordered from the kids menu) was 80.00. My sister dinner, her children (ordered from the kids menu as well),and the two appetizers were over 200.00. I don't mind paying a higher price however I feel like the taste of the food should match the price.

If you're in the mood for some serious hearty Southern comfort food, Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' is a must-visit at Disney Springs. The portions are massive — one meal could easily feed two people, leaving you with plenty of leftovers to enjoy later. I was especially impressed with the fried chicken; it was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. Every bite was absolutely delicious!
As an added bonus, the fried pickles were fantastic! They were crispy and tangy, a perfect appetizer to start your meal off right.
I highly recommend giving Homecomin' a try. It's a great spot to fuel up after a day of exploring the parks or shopping at Disney Springs.

I know I am in the minority here but what a disappointment. We were asked inside or out, since a strong storm was threatening we opted for in, they neglected to tell us they had no air conditioning but it tolerable. Our waitress said she would come back for our drink order. She never did so we settled for water. I ordered the chicken dish that was recommended and it was okay, it was supposed to come with mashed potato’s but I got fried potatoes but not horrible substitution. My husband ordered the fried chicken and donuts, he took one bite of the chicken and stopped eating. I had ordered additional biscuits and gravy but they were so dry they were inedible. Overall my husband rated it the worst meal of our trip and we ate at TRex lol for the grandchildren. Maybe it was an off night as I can’t imagine cooking with no air conditioning but I won’t be returning to find out.
