My wife and I have been here twice during our short stay in Orlando. The first time we came they were about to close, but they still welcomed us with a warmth greeting. We had a really good feeling about this place and turned out we were right! Great vibe, great staff, and great foods! What else can you ask for?

Special thanks to Riley, Chris, and James - you all made our stay in Orlando wonderful! Shout out to Rob for putting together such a solid team!

The best part of the dining experience was dealing with the amiable server, Jill.
She answered all our questions and checked on us properly.
We ordered the fried chicken platter. We did not like the fried chicken. The mashed potatoes, for us, was the best part of the food. The fried chicken was too fried and hard. I expected something soft and succulent based on the popularity.

This is an amazing place and our favorite in The Springs. The service is amazing. Kevin and staff are awesome. Hush puppies are elite! The fried chicken is the best! This is a must restaurant!

We had lunch on Friday June 13,2025.
The food is always very good. Service our server was great. We had a problem with the people who sat across from us. A woman decided to take her shoes off and place her feet on the chair out in the isle. Servers saw this and management walked by and did not address this issue. You are paying good money for this restaurant and to have sit across from her and smell her feet is totally unacceptable.
Very disappointed that management and wait staff did not address this situation. The atmosphere was so unpleasant. This took away from our dining experience. We had people from out of state with us and they were not happy as well.
Hope this never happens to any other guests. Management needs to on top of situations like this.

It was very good ! But I get better at home. I am so blessed to have a wife that can good as well as she does. Her deviled eggs make this place seem like gas station food

40 minute wait just to eat the “famous chicken” that favors KFC chicken but honestly KFC is almost better. Drinks were pretty and tasted good.

A nice place with excellent service and good food. The famous fried chicken was solid and the chicken paillard was delicious. The only complaints were prices were a bit steep and the men’s bathroom was too small for such a large restaurant. Highly recommended

Had the chicken and dumplings and the country club. It was sooo good! We couldn’t get in but waited for walk up. Completely worth the wait! Our server Sherard was so nice and efficient!

Pack lots of patience because the wait is worth it. As first-timers, we found the food delectable and savory. Most importantly, our server, Amanda, was efficient and attentive to our needs. We never had to ask or remind her about anything. She intentionally catered to her customers and provided superior customer service.

There were no reservations, but we walked up around 440 on a Saturday and were sat quickly (15 min)

The pictured item was an appetizer, fried tomatoes, they were AMAZING! This is available in a 1/2 portion of requested. A 1/2 portion is 3.

The server was hard to find at times and didn’t do a great job checking on us.

For the rest of the food:
The country friend steak is a 2 person dish, it is huge. The flavor is ok but honestly Denny’s has better flavor.

The friend chicken salad was good, croutons are like old stale bread.

I didn’t like the fact that the server did not provide an itemized bill. That was odd.

My husband and I came here for the first time. It was incredible! The food was absolutely delicious, and with sharable size portions (although we couldn't help but each get a meal so we could share them - no regrets).

We tried the deviled eggs appetizer, the pot roast, and the smothered chicken. All of them were delicious, and really had that homecooked meal taste and feel. The mashed potatoes were creamy, the southern green beans absolutely delicious, and the mac and cheese had a blanket of cheese that kept the mac warm even eating outside on these rare cold Florida nights.

Our server, Angelica, was phenomenal, great company, and definitely someone we will be asking for when we go back - and we will be going back! I definitely recommend eating here, for locals and visitors alike.

The fried chicken sliders were cold and the mac and cheese was overly cheesy. Drinks were the only decent thing. It was incredibly disappointing.
