Imagine my surprise when I found this place next to Restaurantosaurus, and they serve Häagen-Dazs! My favorite ice cream. Hand scooped, hard ice cream! How have I never been here?Located in the Dinoland area of Animal Kingdom park, Dino-Bite Snacks sells ice cream (3 flavors: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry) on a waffle cone, ice cream sandwiches, hot fudge sundae, floats, chocolate chip cookies, and Mickey pretzels.I just got a scoop of chocolate and the server was very generous...
Got a traditional ice cream sandwich. I’ve never had one this good before, it was really very nice. The cookies were fresh (they seem to bake them on site) and had an amazing chewy texture. It was quite large and we split the sandwich between two. Bring a plastic knife to cut it if you plan to share, there wasn’t any available at the order window.
We stopped at Dino Bites for dessert and got a holiday ice cream cookie with chocolate cookies and crushed candy cane. We also had a traditional ice cream cookie sandwich with chocolate chip cookies. One in our group had a sundae as well. We were lucky to walk up with no line because these treats are made to order. There was a line when we left and I could picture this being a slow place to get your treats when it is busy.
