Just okay. Nothing great, but nothing bad either. Not sure if I would return.

The one drink that I had was very good but the service was so slow that I couldn’t have a second. I would be willing to try again but not a great first experience.

Drinks are good but typical Disney price gouging. The only issue I have is the service is incredibly slow. They bartenders are very nice and the atmosphere is fun but don't expect to get your drinks in a reasonable amount of time.

Always a great bar staff, friendly people and a great time.

One of the best bars at Disney, if not Orlando. It's small but wellthemed with wonderful bartenders (especially Jeff and Lorna) who always make a sit at the bar entertaining and knowledgeable. The bar snacks are good also. Nachos have pulled pork, salsa, etc on them and are a meal for two. Shrimp fritters are also great. Burger is filling and loaded, very good.Frequented by Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members who share tips about good places to eat and drink at Disney. They come from their stays at other DVC resorts just to enjoy a drink with their favorite bartenders and share their Disney knowledge. If the Disney board wants to know how folks feel about their decisions, this place could educate them. The bartenders won't say much but the clientele will share if they are asked. It can get very comical and entertaining! And Disney doesn't charge for it!! Win, win!!!

This is a cozy place to grab a quick drink or to sit and shoot the breeze.

If you are after a very overpriced special drink, you will love it. Small. You are far better off making your own drinks in your room.

Jeff is an excellent bartender. He is also quite versed in WDW Disney knowledge. The poolside bar has indoor seating at the bar and outside. The decor is uniquely framed collections of donated first responder's patches and DVC members expired license plates. Stop by, you will not be disappointed.

I could have sworn I have reviewed this place in the past. Time for a new review I guess! This is the underrated gem in all of Disney World. It's a hole in the wall bar, but has some of the friendliest and best bartenders in all of WDW. Some have been here since 1992! It's a no frills bar that you can get a beer or a surprisingly good and strong tropical drink. I'd argue the drinks are better here than Trader Sam's (but without the flair). The best part is the people watching here. You meet some real characters here. Old Key West has some really insane guests and they're always hanging around here getting a little tipsy. This might be the best "organic" bar in all of Disney World. There's no way they planned it this way. It's a little weird and I love it! Get the Turtle Krawl! The Best!

Where to start with the classic bar in the flagship Disney vacation club resort? I believe it is to talk about the consistency of the great staff and great drinks. The beer is cold and the drinks are delicious. The main attraction drink is the turtle krawl. A fruit packed mixed drink that brings right to the shores of key west Florida. Always cold beer is a welcomed thing on the Florida heat. The bar might be small in size but definitely huge in personality and friendliness. High marks and all the recommendations for a memory that last forever.

Really cool little resort bar!

Gurgling Suitcase is Key West-style bar located inside Disney's Old Key West Resort at Walt Disney World. The resort (originally known as Disney's Vacation Club Resort) opened in December 1991 and was renamed in January 1996. Gurgling Suitcase is a quaint hole-in-the-wall conveniently located between Olivia's Cafe and Good's Food to Go, right near the resort's Sandcastle Pool. The bar's name is a historical reference to people smuggling alcohol from Cuba to Key West inside their luggage. Customs inspectors would shake the suitcases to see if they "gurgled". The bar is well-known for their tropical cocktails, but they also offer light pub fare to munch on. Guests also have the option to order food from the full menu at Olivia's Cafe next door. My family and I recently visited Gurgling Suitcase while we were on an East Coast Road Trip. We had just arrived at Disney World and checked into our hotel at Old Key West. When my wife and I saw Gurgling Suitcase, we decided to order some fancy cocktails to get us into the Disney spirit. The interior of the bar is decorated with fire station and police department patches that have been donated by Disney Vacation Club members over the years. There's also quite a few nautical items scattered around. After looking over the menu, my wife ordered the "Blue Glow-tini" (Skyy Infusions Citrus Vodka, Bols Peach Schnapps, Bols Blue Curaçao, and Pineapple Juice with a Sugared Rim and a souvenir Glow Cube) and I ordered the "Smoked Turkey" (Wild Turkey 101 Bourbon, Red Stag Black Cherry Bourbon, Grenadine, and Minute Maid Premium Lemonade with a hint of Hickory Smoke, garnished with Luxardo Gourmet Maraschino Cherries). We enjoyed our cocktails by the pool and they both really hit the spot! If you're looking for some great tropical-inspired cocktails while in Disney World then head to Gurgling Suitcase!
