I visited this Häagen-Dazs location at Disney Springs in January 2026 at about 15 minutes before closing, and had a disappointing experience.
I asked for a milkshake and was told they didn’t have milk, which seemed odd to me, but I was polite and willing to order something else. When I just asked for a scoop of ice cream instead, another employee whispered to the cashier in front of me, and she started laughing and replied that they didn’t have ice cream either and she didn’t know that before. Maybe that was true, but from the way they handled the situation and laughed it made me feel like they were toying with me and lying to get out of serving me because it was 15 minutes until closing.
I ended up not getting anything and just felt guilty and humiliated even though I don’t think I did anything wrong. I understand coming a bit before closing can be annoying for the staff, but I thought 15 minutes was ample time and I was also willing to just order something quick and easy like a scoop of ice cream. The staff were so dismissive and patronizing, and it definitely soured my night at Disney Springs.

It’s a busy Sunday night, yet only two employees are working the ice cream and smoothie area, and there is no sense of urgency. The staff is moving at an extremely slow pace, with one person taking orders while the other focuses on stocking utensils instead of helping prepare orders. One employee is eating while making orders, which is concerning. Many customers are waiting, and there appears to be little care or awareness of the growing line. I have been waiting over 20 minutes for a smoothie and am still waiting. Overall, this is a very disappointing experience.

I love this location. We stop by here every Disney trip. The staff on my last trip was friendly and working quickly even with a long line. A younger employee (I think her name tag said Cassidy) made my milkshake this time and it was delicious! We will be back on our next Disney vacation!
