The Cookie Bar at Summer House on the Lake

The food was amazing...order a large variety of item and everyone loved it...our waiter was polite and attentive. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone

The table ordered the buttermilk pancakes and tostadas for brunch. The buttermilk pancakes were absolutely delicious. You get three pancakes (no sides) but the three pancakes will get you full. I had the tostadas. Two come in the order. Very flavorful. No complaints on either dish. The husband ordered the salad with the steak. He said the salad was bland with barely any flavor in the dressing. We also tried the cookie bar. I had the oatmeal apple cookie. It is soft (not chewy or crunchy). For a good water view, sit at the bar or outside. We sat in the dining room and did not have a view of the water. However, I Definitely plan on going back. Overall, it was a great experience. The menu is versatile and has something for everyone.

Took forever to get in for our reservation because we never received our text that our table was ready. The restaurant was freezing. The waitress wasn't very attentive. Our food took 45 minutes to come out and then my pizza wasn't even hot or warm. We ordered cookies to go and they were the wrong cookies when we got back to our hotel to eat them.

We sat outside, great view. The service was the star! Andrew was an incredible server, smart, honest, fave great recommendation's. The food was good, lunch fare. Highly recommend.

Everything about Summer House was amazing! The staff was welcoming and attentive and the food was excellent all around!

Very poor experience. Service was slow and not attentive. Food was not great quality. Steak was cold and tough. Tuna was poir grade and tasted fishy. Restaurant is not what it used to be.

My friend and I enjoyed our day and lunch immensely. It was enhanced by watching the hot air balloon land nearby! The food and service was excellent. Jay was our waiter- very attentive and cordial. We will be back. Geri

Took my mother for a birthday brunch. Cheesy Dream Puffs had wonderful flavor, but over cooked. Came out fast though. We wait a while for the rest of the food. My pancake taco was cold. My mother's order was just wrong. They remade both, which was another wait. The first set of drinks was great, the second was disgusting. The manager did come over after the first order of food came out poorly, but she did not actually do anything. While I certainly think there is a lot of potential, I would say this is not currently worth the price point

Angelica was an incredible server and the food was amazing. Tried the giant cinnamon roll, it's worth it!

Was great as always...only thing this time my favorite jalapeño corn bread seemed premade and sitting for awhile
