Wine Bar George - A Restaurant & Bar

Our server Dean was great and the sommelier steered us in the right direction. The red blend from the Douro Valley was our favorite!

We had a very nice dinner at Winebar George. I personally had the cheese plate to myself, my friends got the Baratta, and a salad. Everyone loved their food. I also really appreciated their allergy menus, which you will receive when you scan the menu QR code. The wine was awesome. Our server Chris also did excellent job. We got to sit in their little wine room with a table, and it was a great ambience! Will come back.!

They have a very impressive wine list. You can get a taste of more expensive wines by the ounce. This was a first for me. Of course you pay a pretty penny for the ounce so its a little splurge. We ordered a very nice charcuterie board, tasty. We had a lovely evening there. I would definitely go back.

Always love our visits to WBG. The wait staff was amazing, Kyle, our server, was knowledgeable and so personable, as were the other servers nearby. A total team effort and we loved it! George was there and he stopped by our table and chatted. Great guy that truly loves his restaurant and it really shows! We'll be back! Can't wait!!

We had a party of 6 including a 2 year old. We arrived and anticipated to recieve excellent service as everyone else patronizing this establishment. My 2 year old Nephew was quietly playing with bubbles that were sold directly outside the doors of Wine Bar George and the waitress requested it stop. No complaints just her or another waitress personal irritation. Resteraunt was not busy, several tables open near us,and NO customer interrruption (I specifically asked)!! There was absolutely no reason other than personal bias and finding a reason to attempt to disrespect, and UNwelcome a non disruptive, quiet party, that just happened to be of brown and black race. Disgusting behavior by the waitresses!!! Policing just to police!! Thank Goodness for Kyle, he recovered Beautifully, although the original waitress claimed she was going to get a manager. No manager came by our table, but again Kyle was Wonderful!!

Two adults and one child dined here. We selected the kid meatball and fries which were well received by the 9 year old. The adults started with the wine flight listed on the menu with a variety of selections and went with the ribeye and butternut squash risotto. The ribeye was excellent and cooked perfect as requested. For dessert we shared the cannoli which was a fluffy pastry shell, filled center and very tasty as well. Service was good as usual. not our first time to dine here and always satisfying.

Been a diner here over 15 times F first time i made a reso Offered poor choice tables told all other tables were reserved for bigger resos Sat at upstairs bar instead Uninterested, condescending bartender Spent over $200 however this is the first time of all visits. I have not ordered a bottle of wine as it seemed we were putting the bartender out out of his way. Upon departure, all tables on the lower level had two persons at each table specifically we were told we cannot sit at them because we are only two First visit to Orlando that we will not come down on two occasions Food, exceptional as always

We sat on the balcony. The squash risotto was good but could have used some spices. Smashed burger was good. A friend who had chicken salad sandwich did not care for it. The potato chips are fabulous! Service was the best. Fun place to eat. Nice menu.

Great food and wine selection. A bit pricey, but ultimately worth it. You need patience, because the service is slow.

It was our first time at this restaurant with my wife. We had read so many positive reviews that we couldn't resist trying it out. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service. Even though we arrived early, we were seated promptly. We decided to order the skirt steak, which was highly recommended. However, it arrived slightly undercooked to our liking. The staff promptly took it back and returned it perfectly cooked, and it tasted incredible. As an appetizer, we ordered the mac and cheese bites. My wife had a white wine, and everything was delicious. Manny, the server, was exceptional and provided top-notch service throughout our meal. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.

Waitress/server Courtney was out of this world. Amazing... Impeccable service, friendly outgoing. Table side service from chef Chris was amazing. We will always recommend this place to friends and family.

It was way to loud inside. Difficult to enjoy table conversation when no one can hear each other. Loved the charcuterie

Updating my review of Wine Bar George. It's been seven years since we've come here, and a lot has changed. I used to think that boards full of samples of meats and cheeses was silly and useless. Now, however, I can appreciate pairing different items together, adding an accoutrement or two, and putting it all on a nice cracker. I've evolved.

Ambiance is very nice. Upscale wine bar with lots of wood and lots of wine bottles everywhere. It's aesthetically pleasant. Relaxing. Service was also really good. The guy we had knew his lines for all of our wines, and he came buy just often enough to check on us for water refills. No concerns.

As for the food itself, we got The Big Board (six artisanal cheeses, five artisanal meats, condiments). Old me would have thought this absurd, but current me spent like a whole hour trying this and that with this and that, and it was a good time. Everything tasted good. There wasn't anything absolutely mind-blowing or super memorable, but it's a very nice offering for Disney property.

Overall, this place was a perfectly pleasant experience. I would recommend it to anyone who likes wines and meats and cheeses.
