Drive through, couldn't get fish fillers because you can get only on line, had to have that horrible fried fish, no taste, nasty, food was cold. Never heard that you can't get what a customer wants. Spent I over 53 dollars For fish going in garbage. Will not be back. So go ahead with I am sorry reply Change would be nice.

Sign on door says closes 10pm Sunday. We walked in the door at 920pm, plenty of time to order and eat, 30 minutes top. Would be finished by 950 at the latest. Was told by the girl working the front counter that the dining room closes at 945, and that after ordering we would only have 10 minutes then we would have to leave. Really rude employee with a terrible attitude. Food is always pretty good here, but this employee's actions and mouth make it a no go for us.

Been there multiple times hoping we will get hot food as captain ds is a favorite of ours but every time we go there we get food that is not hot or fresh it's sad but I'm pretty tempted to never go there again , threw most of our meals in the trash

Waited twenty min in drive thru, ordered trio and crab cake was only brown on one side and half cooked. Food was cold by the time I finally got it. This is not my first time here but obviously the quality of service and food prep is going down hill.

We ordered online for pick up this afternoon from the Lake City, Florida location. I went to pick it up and despite arriving a few minutes after my pick up time, my order wasn’t ready. No big deal on that front. But I literally had to hold my hand over my face because they mopped with sour mop water, and the entire lobby stunk of it. How people were in there eating with the stench was beyond me.
Got home with our food and everything was over salted and just generally disappointing. $40 worth of food and none of us ate even half of what we bought. Our last experience was several years ago and I was hoping that things might have improved. Not only have they not improved, they have gone downhill since then, and I didn’t really know that was possible. Sharing a photo of the fried oysters I got so you can see the salt literally caked on them. They came out of the container that way.
I did try to give them feedback, but was told they had a full lobby and a full drive-through (that would be interesting to see, since I have never seen more than two cars in the drive-through.) so yes, I did try to reach the store. They just don’t care.

Well the guy told me there is no big tartar sauce he gave me about four little container of tartar sauce no sweet tea in the custom era
The restaurant is very clean and the tables are comfortable but the decor is a bit dated and the interior feels like you stepped back to the 80's. The food took a bit to get out and it was decent for the money but nothing to make you wanna come back unless you have a strong desire for deep fried shrimp and fish. The hush puppies were surprisingly moist and well done. Usually they are dry and hard. The shrimps are cooked to completion but the near carboard texture of the breading takes away from the taste. The shrimp has been in a freezer for a while which causes the meat to get tough after you cook it. The fish was much better but one side was a bit dark. About 20 seconds less in the fryer and it would have been perfect. The drinks are a bit warm out of the fountain so use the pound of ice they put in the cup for you, you'll need it. They stayed pretty consistent but no heavy lunch mob to overwhelm the one counter person they had operating the entire front. Parking is free and plentiful so no need to fret about finding a spot. The bathrooms are clean just as the rest of the restaurant appears. The staff is doing a good job keeping things clean and pretty but the food is getting smaller and freshness has left the building. For a quick meal to satiate a seafood craving they will do the trick but it's not a high quality restaurant and they don't try to be one.

I had no wait upon my arrival. Ordering was easy, the person ringing up my order was very pleasant. My food was delicious and hot.The restaurant was very clean and I had a nice choice of tables to sit at. We do not have a Caption D's in our area , so I had anticipated eating here for the last several hours and I was not disappointed. I will return to this location when I am in Lake City again.
