You never know what you're going to get when your hotel is between two waffle houses no less than half a mile apart. So happy that I found Cedar River Seafood. This place is genuine, A wonderful experience for this Colorado boy, this is the family restaurant that I remember from the '70s and '80s, great food while being serenaded by '50s music. Raelynn made great suggestions for seafood and took care of me with a roadie to go. Pay them a visit, and remember what the world was like before the mass marketed chains took over.

Service here was the worst!! Thought we would never get service. Then She was borderline rude. Food was cold and we were still asking for silverware. She really had a problem. Ruined the evening. Then when we discovered all kinds of food on the floor under our table, it was all in the treads of our shoes. NASTY. My only good thing to say is the food, even cold, was edible. I had not had good seafood in a while and had really looked forward to the meal, but the server quickly ruined the experience!! I hope others have a better experience than we did. No excuses for sorry service. The place wasn’t even that busy when we were there. We will choose a different restaurant in the future.

Shrimp was plump, lightly breaded, and not overly cooked. Perfect for dipping sauce. Green beans had just the right amount of butter and seasoning. Collared greens were melt in your mouth tender with lots of flavor. Hush puppies were breaded and cooked evenly. Not burnt and dripping of oil. Plus, a little sprig of parsley to freshen the breath/pallet afterward. Excellent ?. Definitely recommend.

Stopped in on Easter afternoon. Restaurant was Clean , good food choices even for my husband who doesn’t care too much for sea food, decent pricing!! Will definitely try again!
First off let me say this new Cedar River is beautiful inside and out. Plenty of parking in the new clean parking lot. Then I opened the doors and i was blown away. Beautiful art and glass everywhere, seated in a great booth very clean. TJ came and greeted us and got our drink orders as we looked at the menu and answered our questions. Before we knew it he was back with our drinks and took our order. These heaping plates of shrimp and Pollock were set down in front us. TJ kept our drinks filled and kept the sauces coming. The food was delicious the atmosphere was very nice, and the service, the service was A++. I would recommend Cedar River if u r in the mood for seafood done your way and definitely ask for a table in TJ's section you will be glad you did.Parking: Numerous and clean
